Percentages are interesting for instance, 25% for India means 250 million people, whereas 45 % in Pakistan means 81 million - both are shameful numbers

percentages show how many mouths you need to feed too. so w/ population growth has your numbers gone up or down?

LOL - so Haq yeah, i looked him and called the university he says he teaches in-- he got suspended a long time ago...permanently. maybe because of his propensity to simple fabricate data? Or maybe because he clashed with his Indian senior tenured professors and bosses ?

the stress is on word INDIAN whether she is writer or journalist but she is an Indian so you cant just point finger at others for the observation which you know is true by the way.

Why would any country want to be hyphenated with India, a country with its dubious distinction of having the world's largest population of poor, hungry and illiterates with two-thirds of them still defecating in the open?

The only hyphenation taking place between India and Pakistan is due to terrorism from pakistan. There has to be some reality that needs to sink in here...

The world hopes that it will lead to less radicals and terrorism emitting from Pakistan if India helps Pakistan become stable, the region becomes thus stable. The recent terrorist attack in China shows that Pakistan is rightly looked as the the most unstable/ terrorist haven country in the region. You must be a KAKAJI Haq to believe otherwise and are kidding yourself if the word " Pakistan" is being looked through another prism. and best way forward for the world is not to treat Pakistan as Africa i.e. keep bailing it out with aid.

This hyphenation is not due to economic issues. where one thinks of Pakistan as being a regional economic power. If it were, then Bangladesh would be the one to be included. Their economy, foreign investments ( FDI) are on the up. They are much much more stable ...

Here's the comparison of "regional economic powers" in South Asia...see India and Bangladesh bracketed together with the world's poorest nations mostly from sub-Saharan Africa.
