Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou reaches agreement with US to resolve fraud charges

Its nice for China to do business with Hunter Biden. Biden’s have lots of Chinese connection that Xi has Biden by the balls.

These American presidents are the same. I won't talk about Trump's loan contract with the Bank of China. Ivanka has two leather shoes factories in Guangdong, China, and a factory producing urn and coffin in Jiangxi. Obama's brother has lived in China for 20 years, obtained a Chinese green card and is applying for Chinese nationality.

LoL... NYTimes and Washington post. I need not say more. Kangeroo media and source for China! :enjoy:

As usual you don't need to say anything..your Kangaroo Government media reported it first and sent it to media outlets.

GlobalTimes

The Supreme People's Court of East China's Jiangxi Province announced that Zhang Yuhuan, who was previously convicted for child murder and has been kept in custody for 26 years, is "not guilty" based on a lack of sufficient evidence.

Depends on the case whether it's politically motivated. If it is, there is no difference between the 3.rule of law my arze
Meng is a high profile case, politics certainly plays a role. As everywhere. The question is how much the degree of politics.
Remember the day US file changes against Meng Wanzhou. 8 top US government officials from 8 different departments stood in front of the world press.

US files charges against China's Huawei and CFO Wanzhou

Now the charges are dropped. Just like that ? So 8 US department did not have enough resources to find any strong evidence against Huawei. How many FBI agents do you think were working on Meng WanZhou case ? 60 ? 100 ? And they could not find any strong evidence ?

Now say this is not a kangaroo court with a straight face.
you don’t understand.
There are 5 major sanctioned countries and territories in the world. Iran is one of them.
Meng knew it however she believed she is a smart girl and constructed a company called Skycom to sell telco equipment to Iran.
She risked the fate of Huawei in exchange for few million dollars. How stupid is that?
The deal today means Meng admits the fault and pays penalty money, in return she is released.
Ccp agrees to release the jailed Canadians.

According to the news from Huawei, Meng Wanzhou did not plead guilty and will not plead guilty.

Meng admits the fraud before the court.

Next we should liquidate Britain HSBC. Let HSBC go bankrupt.
IIRC from the HK News, the HK Court ordered HSBC to release some documents that can prove that HSBC already know Meng (Huawei) had connection to the company in HK before the deal, so some suspect how could it be fraud while HSBC is already knew upfront. Only that evidence had been denied by the Canadian Court since it would hurt the US side.

It is no longer important.
The attacks on Huawei by the USA&Canada are clearly political persecution. So China can also use political means to attack any western company involved in the Huawei incident. Start with HSBC.

Meng admits the fraud before the court.

If she admitted then why wasn't she extradited? You know why because she committed no crime in the US, she is a Chinese citizen and HK is in China, its like saying China can arbitarily detain an American in US because he committed a crime according to Chinese law. How stupid is that? Chinese citizens are not subjected to US law in China dumb dumb.

The fate of Huawei has nothing to do with what Meng WanZhou did. It's due to US losing to Huawei in the 5G race. Don't be ignorant.
We all knows what is going on. It's a kangaroo court.

You still don’t understand.
No, Meng doesn’t break China laws not HK laws. She breaks US laws. She told untrue to Hscb in a meeting in HK.
It doesn’t matter that she is chinese. If communist leader Xi Jingping breaks US laws he would be arrested and extradited to the US.
The US is the global superpower. She decides whether you are allowed to wear pants in red or blue.

HSBC is a British Bank. The so call "fraud" occurred in Hong Kong, China. And it happened many years ago. Nobody lost any money in this "fraud".
Even the Canadian Judge said this is unusual.
The money was transacted in UK. HSBC then transacted the money in US.
Recently document obtained proofed HSBC top management knew about the Iran deal.

So if HSBC knew about the Iran deal and then transfer money in US. Then it is HSBC own fault.

The correct procedure is then for US to sue HSBC first.

Canadian Judge. Quote.
"Isn't it unusual that one would see a fraud case with no actual harm, many years later, and one in which the alleged victim - a large institution - appears to have numerous people within the institution who had all the facts that are now said to have been misrepresented?" Associate Chief Justice Heather Holmes asked, per the note.

People have poor memory.

Quote
Today marks the day over two decades ago when Asian American scientist Dr. Wen Ho Lee became the target of racial scapegoating and profiling by his own country, and faced injustice as a result of a failure on all levels of government. On December 10, 1999, Dr. Lee was arrested and accused of providing nuclear secrets to the government of China. Despite lacking any evidence of economic espionage, Dr. Lee was jailed in solitary confinement for nine months without bail. Dr. Lee was only allowed to see his family for one hour every week, and was constantly shackled hand and foot, a different treatment from other prisoners at the Santa Fe jail.
After a five-year investigation that involved polygraphs, interrogations, and even incarceration, the FBI did not find any evidence that Dr. Lee was a spy for the government of China. After 278 days of solitary confinement without bail, Dr. Lee was finally freed after the government’s case crumbled, lacking any merit and settled on a plea bargain for just one count of mishandling

Source

There were 60 agents and more assigned to Lee's case, working to prove that he was a spy.
