Shouldn't this be in the China and the Far East instead then? The title clearly states Southeast Asia rather than South Asia. Though Sri Lanka has some Buddhist-Muslim conflict it's nowhere near as bad as Burma's. Anyway Rakhine state is Burma's second poorest state in Burma but, with the new democratic government and more economic development I'm sure things will improve better for the state and the Rohingya as well. What is happening in Rakhine is simply a reaction.

The best way to "de-radicalize" the Buddhists there are:

- Stop demographic aggression against majority Buddhists.
- Stop rioting in the name of religion; practise the peace and tolerance your people preach.
- Stop asking for special concessions that coincide with rules offensive to the majority communities in other people's land.

He is talking about the a$$whooping handed down by monk Ashin Wirathu ji and his group in Myanmar who raised the fed up Buddhists against "peaceful people" for their "peaceful activities".

Then first let us shut down the lunatic groups targeting other religions and common people even of their own faith and then we can talk about de-radicalizing others.
