Rank: Flight Lieutenant
Training Period: 20 weeks Training at PAF Academy Risalpur as Officer Cadet.
Qualification: MBBS Minimum 2nd Div or equivalent qualification from a Pakistani/Foreign
medical college/university recognized by the Pakistani Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC),
having completed minimum one year house job in an institution recognized by the PM&DC.
Preference would be given to those who have relevant field experience after house job.
SPECIALIST DOCTORS (SPSSC)
(a) Anesthetist
(b) Radiologist
(c) Gynecologist
(d) Medical Specialist
Nationality: Male/Female Citizens of Pakistan
Rank: Squadron Leader
Training Period: 20 weeks Training at PAF Academy Risalpur as Officer Cadet.
Qualification: FCPS/FRCP/MRCP or equivalent qualified.
COMMANDOS IN SPECIAL SERVICES WING (SSW) A & SD BRANCH
Nationality: Male/Female Citizens of Pakistan
Rank: Pilot Officer
Training Period: Six months GST and ATC training at PAF Academy Risalpur as Aviation Cadet.
After completion of initial training suitable/Physical capable candidates would be detailed
for Officers Advance Commando Course (OACC).
Qualification: BA/BSc (FSc Pre Medical/Engineering/Computer Science) Minimum 2nd Div from a
recognized Pakistani / Foreign University and volunteer to join Special Services Wing.
TEACHERS FOR PAF PUBLIC SCHOOL, LOWER TOPA
(a) Mathematics
(b) Computer Science / IT
Nationality: Male Citizens of Pakistan
Rank: Flying Officer
Qualification: MSc/MCS Minimum 2nd Div from a recognized Pakistani/Foreign University in
respective disciplines.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
1. Registration at PAF Information & Selection Centres.
2. Intelligence Test followed by academic test as per following schedule:-
(a) Engineering - General Proficiency test
(b) Education (Academic test in the relevent subjects)
(c) Medical
(d) Teachers for L/Topa
(e) A&SD (SSW) - General Knowledge and English Test followed by Physical fitness evaluation at
I&S Centres.
3. Initial medical examination and interview by Officer Commanding I&S Centres.
4. AHQ Special Selection Board.
5. ISSB tests / Interview for Edu (Psychology) candidates only.
6. CMB at PAF Base Masroor, Karachi
7. Final selection by AHQ in order of merit.
INELIGIBILITY
1. Twice rejected by Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) / General Headquarters (GHQ) or
Naval Headquarters (NHQ) or AHQ Selection Board (third chance for specific higher
qualification courses only).
2. Twice screened out by (ISSB/any Service Selection Board).
3. Once rejected by ISSB and once rejected by any Service Selection Board (ISSB and Service
Selection Boards will be considered at per for eligibility purpose). Absent from any Service
Selection Boards will be treated as rejected..
4. Twice rejected by ISSB or any Service Selection Board for specific higher qualification
courses.
5. If declared permanently unfit by Armed Forces Appeal Medical Board (AFAMB) for
commissioning in PAF/Army/Navy (Candidates declared unfit by AFAMB/CMB/CMH will remain
ineligible until they are declared fit by AFAMB).
6. If dismissed/removed/debarred from any Government Service including Armed Forces.
7. If withdrawn/rejected from any Service Training Institute for the reason of
maladjustment/disciplinary grounds/medical unfitness/resignation /purchase of
release/character qualities. However, candidates withdrawn due to poor performance in
academics or lack of flying aptitude are eligible to apply for branches other than the one
they were withdrawn from.
8. If convicted by a court of law for any offence.
9. If their original academic certificates are found tampered with.
10. If they have concealed any information or have provided incorrect information at the time
of filling in their application forms/interview.
11. Thrice screened out by Army/Navy/Air Force in any preliminary tests stands ineligible.
