Russian Tsar ruled the Russian Empire, built by ethnic Russians which was overthrown by ethnic Russians under the Marxist guise which built the Soviet Union whose backbone was the Russian ethnic group. All along power remained within the indigenous ethnic Russians. Soviet Union itself was built on the back of sacrifices by the Russian ethnic group.

On the other hand British Indian Empite was built up by foreign invaders (British) from across the other side of the globe. They sacrificed British blood in building their empire - that is why Queen Victoria was also Empress of India. It was her (a British Queen) empire. The British ruled and administered their empire. All the locals (natives) were vanquished slaves of the British rule - that includes us, you, Banglas and Burmese. When our British 'masters' left in 1947 we all become free and went our own way.
