So basically since our debt increased by 300%(71%debt) and our tax to gdp decreased by 10% means our gdp went up by 300%

There was no corruption in the soviet union but yeah their military was over budgeted which was the need of the hour. Soviet union generals were not like Pakistani generals with assets in millions of dollars.
