HIT new project of Armored Fighting Vehicle

PA has been looking for an IFV for a pretty long time now PA trialed FMC AIFV based on the M113 Chassis in the 90s and according to a western author it was going to be locally produced similar to how the turks and the dutch produced but that didnt happen for unknown reasons. i think PA has always been interested in IFVs but procurement costs may become a problem thats why there hasnt been much progress in regards to IFV procurement or development.View attachment 865469
looks like a 20 mm cannon ? Im not sure.

That turret helps against enemy snipers when conducting ops in urban areas

HIT should start doing joint projects with Turkey given their good experience in AFV and other armoured vehicles rather than stepping into the field with no knowledge and wasting dollars even India with its economic power is primarily focused on joint ventures and local production.

BMC Kirpi is very practical.

should consider these to replace unpractical range Rover land cruiser for light vehicle transportation for troopsthese can be used as avengers system for short range air defence against enemy targets they are small can hide in trees very easily as USA using their stingers and aim 9 on humvess roof we can do the same with Anza rbs 70

Turk FNSS doing good job amphibious assault vehicles should be bought for pak marines who are under modernized

Bhai why you are angry we need our troops to travel with safety is their any harm

looks very impressive, a nice addition to Pak Army's transport vehicles to crowd control and crush Pakistani public should the need arise....our jawan on borders are still using Hi-Ace and Suzuki dabba.

Infantry fighting concept needs modernization too to adapt these. This is a good choice for a light armored vehicle.

Yes they have better clearance too and top of it they are small hard to see for enemies and can blend I. Very well in tress for short range anti air or tank missions through surprised attacks

Another option is Khizir from Turkey. If we decide several options are available it's our leadership criminal negligence which has to be blamed. We have lost thousands of lives due to that.

Turkish options are really good, some of the variants have been tested in combat also.

LAT's use M-113 now, although I am always in favor of a light fast ATGM 4x4 which constantly harasses enemy formations.

Yaar FC - Army - MOI. This trio is messed up.

An ideal solution is to get this vehicle for FC, also put a small drone and a small UGV with the squad of 6 and send them on independent patrolling with back up through heli QRF.

...or the HIT will get much needed experience and lessons in project + product management.

If HIT needs "experience and lessons in project management" the SOE would be better off shutdown.

With all the "TOT" and defense expos HIT cant put together a competent IFV or MRAP it's time to just move away. Assembly of stuff can easily be done by the Atlas Honda/Indus Motor/Pak Suzuki no?

The focus has always been on importing stuff and slapping Green and White flags on it to show off at parades when they're not parked at some brigade lot.

Shortsighted generals have never won wars noone remembers them.

Army can get all politicians together and get law on extension passed but can't get these for them. If you want make excuses you can keep doing but trust me if Army had vision they would have gotten them long ago. It's not MOI fault. Even Army is travelling in Hilux in areas which keep facing IED and Gun and Grenade attacks.
