The same meditation and spiritual practices which the modern day Hindus scoff at is practiced by the Buddhists too. Here is one example of what it can do.

Why nair you got your mundu in a twist on mentioning of how beef is offensive to most Hindus? You did not find the beating up of the sadhu and the high moral priests supporting this act offensive.

Lol, Why you bother about my mundu????? Beef is offensive to lot of hindu's. I know and being a hindu myself and live in a world where in most of the people eat beef, I guess i know how it feels better than you....
