I dont know how many statues will come in future, it wont be a suprise if statues are more than houses in india. I didn't asked whats the need.. whats the significance? everyone having statues today...

Gandhi, father of the nation?? Why he deserve that? I dont know... clement atlee the PM who ruled india before independence said why british decided to leave india, then why gandhi got this title dont know... First of all when partition happened , majority of Indians both Hindus and Muslims were against it and whatever the immigration took place in majority it was from Punjab side and where as Bengal already saw partition in 1905 and gone through the bengal famine in 1943 in which 3-7 millions were already perished because of which mainland India lost Burma and even now we are seeing how the people of Burma are suffering and living like refugees, those people even never wanted partition.

Thousands of rallies were taken by Muslims against partition all over Indian Sub Continent in which all stand together shoulder to shoulder with mainstream Hindus and during that time media was not so much stronger but still there are thousands of pictures all over Indian museums which shows how much Indian Muslims opposed the Partition.

In case of Article 370, Nehru, Maharaja Hari Singh, Shiekh Abdullah, Gopalaswamy Ayyangar all were behind it.

I agree with you. Still these countries have a chance they could make SARC as SU same like EU. We all can unite together.

Kashmir could be made as a land govern by both India and Pakistan. There are lots of example like this in the world.

Mahatma Gandhi represented India but never wanted to the run the country. He did worked to keep all the leaders who were part of the Freedom struggle united and its the reality.

Tamilians do see Mahatma Gandhi as father of the nation.

1. SAARC should be elevated as SU, and efforts should be made to move towards regional unity.

SAARC is an economic forum which is mainly to strengthen economic relations among the member states. India is doing investment and business with almost all the SAARC countries.
Regarding Kashmir already people of jammu and Kashmir have cast thier votes and PDP and BJP are going to form the government it seems as talks are going to start from next week.
