Lol, you forgot Urdu is not Persian. It's a language who's vocabulary takes root in mainly 3 languages: Persian, Arabic and Sanskrit. Urdu aas is probabily from aasha as you say, but it wasn't borrowed exactly, it was inherited and the pronunciation probably changed over period of time. That's just how languages work.
The corruption you're talking about is a natural process almost all languages around the world go through. Nearly 30% of English vocabulary is "corrupted" French, even if the 2 languages are not immediate siblings.
