Speed is detected down to every single km/h. They tolerate meter errors as vast speedometers are still manual. That means they give an additional "bar" to drivers and only fine them when they know it indeed over-speeding and not a minor speedometer error on part of driver.

This margin of error is different for different speeds. For 40 km/h this margin is 3 km/h, for 70km/h, its around 5. In Australia, the maximum speed before fine is 117km/h when speed limit is 110km/h.

This rule is less about Police's ability to detect speed, which is anyway very accurate. This is more about drivers who may be driving 20 years old vehicles.

Lately some members have been pulling their strings and bringing in some sensational news regarding reported tense situation at the border. Here is what I have with me.

1: PAF has started the exercise Hi Mark 2016 as planned and as this exercise is simulating near to war like situation therefore PAF aircraft/assets have been deployed to its war time locations from where they are operating. This exercise include very special maneuvers near border in GB, flying over Siachin and near LOC etc too.

2: IAF's exercise TALON has also coincided with the same timeline so ofcourse both PAF/IAF radars wud be getting quite provocative blips on their screens.

3: Fact is that till the time India does not get/provide any credible links of Pakistan's involvement in Uri incident, till then it will not even think of crossing any red line.

4: Pak-Russian exercise of special forces is about to commence. India going for offensive with Russian Forces present in Pakistan.....not a good idea.

5: Current snub at UN with regards to IOK has put India in quite an awkward position. In such a case any hostility anywhere does not suits India.

6: Nonetheless Yes concerned quarters in Pakistan is cautious of any possible adventurism/aggression from India so yes necessary arrangement had already been done but that in no case are like any of the "Ops Sentinels".

7: The main indicator of war like scenario or possible escalation wud be when deployment of quite a major chunk of Pakistani assets/equipment from FATA to eastern border be carried out.

Having said so Yes lately there had been movement of extra ordinary kind on Indian side and same has been responded by Pakistan accordingly. Wars are always dirty but if War is the slogan out there then both countries shud get ready to step into stone age (Thats the minimum amount of destruction for both in case of any small aggression by any of the two).

Dear Sir, may I know that since when military matters have started to pop up on media even there and then? The fact is media on both sides of the border are feeding from each other and passing on to their people out there to further create sensation. Plz just see how PSX has performed yesterday and see how is it doing right now. Its responding to the extra hype created around.
