It must be a very subcontinental thing,my mom still gives me long speeches. Infact she still treats me like a kid.

How dare you ignore my sentence in Pashto???

My approach has usually been different , let the guy throw the first punch . (that way in case there is a police case you wont be blamed) also unless necessary dont draw blood (police case for sure then)
Hit the groin the stomach and kidneys , also target the ribs too . No visible blood but the opponent is down and in a lot of pain.

Usually i use hokey sticks and a 5" switchblade i carry . but that only if i fear grievous injury . Now a days i just carry my gun and have three of my boys accompanying me .
Been in at least 20 knife fights in my lifetime and have a lot of scars to prove it . If i was to do my life over i would have taken a different track .
