Golden Rule #1 of fights - Throw the first punch, and make sure its hard. That's usually the end.

Golden Rule #1 of fights - You will get hit. The first hit on the face is usually the toughest (psychologically more than physically). Go into the fight expecting it, and you'll come out ok.

Most fights though end with a combination of #1 and #2.

@jbgt90 please share your valued inputs bro. (just fists and legs .....)

My approach has usually been different , let the guy throw the first punch . (that way in case there is a police case you wont be blamed) also unless necessary dont draw blood (police case for sure then)
Hit the groin the stomach and kidneys , also target the ribs too . No visible blood but the opponent is down and in a lot of pain.

Usually i use hockey sticks and a 5" switchblade that i carry . but use that only if i fear grievous injury . Now a days i just carry my gun and have three of my boys accompanying me .
Been in at least 20 knife fights in my lifetime and have a lot of scars to prove it . If i was to do my life over i would have taken a different track .

Good point about the police case. Had a "chapter case" against me once during a property related fight ....

But yes, no mercy once the guy is down. Just be careful where you hit. Being a doc, I know how ridiculously easy it is to kill a man, with a combination of school physics and plain bad luck.

After that, your life is shit.

So those who get into fights, steer clear of the temple, the nose and just below, even a very hard kick in the balls for that matter. And be careful of dividers, kerbs etc. in street fight. If the guy goes down on one and hits his head or breaks his neck, no fault of yours, your life is still shit.

Used to carry a Rampuri too. But never actually used it. Right now I have a metal SWAT baton under the mat on the co-driver side of my cars, and a baseball bat in the last row. On inter-state bike rides, I carry my hunting knife (Muela).

After leaving school, i ended up becoming part of ''Zidi'' gang, which was quite famous amongst Birmingham's Cafe Culture.
You can be sure there was plenty of action with rival gangs.
Since moving to Scotland, except an odd incident, things are calmer, however my favourite weapon is never far from me.

Yeah i know . i was booked for murder quiet a few time , also attempt to murder.
I still prefer the hockey stick (i used to be a player) to a baseball bat. Though if you get caught with a hockey stick in your car the cops can charge you. unless you produce an ID saying you are a player.
I have an ID from SAI to say i am a junior coach:)

How are you mate? long time , you still in Bangalore?

Once my cousin brother and I beaten 5 cops badly that happened 6-7 years back. My cousin brother and his cousin brother and I went to take bath in falls which is near to my place. I am the elder among three. That evening nobody was at falls ,initially I took bath and come out but those two were enjoyed, my cousin brother already in booze . Mean while 5 person came and start to take bath some quarrel happened between them and my cousin brother. They told they are cops but he replied as I am also a cop just he mocking them. They tried to beat him but he managed now his cousin brother frightened ( he was in 1st yr of engg I think) and came to me. I realised that If I am not taking the charge then the situation would go really worse. I entered and picked up real fight my cousin brother came into his sense we both beat them back and blue with sticks ,rod ,tyres and they ran with underwear we chased everybody finally pushed them into dense bushes with thorns.

Immediately I called to my another cousin brother who is SP in vigilance department he instructed us to surrender and he made call to that police station in prior. We went to the police station those 5 cops came afterwards and they complained about us. DSP scolded us how dared to attack cops? do you think you are rogue? etc.. then we explained that situation. Later he scolded those cops for irresponsible behavior in public . He asked about our caste and gud family reputation . The DSP as well as that 5 cops belongs to our caste so simply he warned us in front of our family elders( that's the worst incident).
