Lol such planned satelite cities are there in every other country, we have Purbachal, Jhilmil near Dhaka and Ananya, Kalpalok, Kalurghat near Chittagong.

Planned city? as if Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai are all PLANNED CITIES. :lol:

Investment will be private its around 4-5 Bil right now but will increase as the project will begin to take shape . Look at any other project where private investment is involved its always in cycles.

@gslv mk3 I think our Bangladeshi friends should warn Japanese how bad a investment in DMIC is going to be. :lol:

You have only secured funding for the construction of railway tracks so just talk about that only. Rest of the project are just pipe dreams. :lol:

Our railway tracks are already under modernization process under a different project.

Investment will be private its around 4-5 Bil right now but will increase as the project will begin to take shape . Look at any other project where private investment is involved its always in cycles.

lol there is a system of financing. Investors initially assure the total fund and disburse it periodically as the projects progress. JICA has only pledged $4 billion while the rest of $95 billion required for DMIC has no assurance.

Not only tracks the locomotives are also being upgraded. An MoU is already signed with CREC to construct an elevated highspeed railway between Dhaka and Chittagong.

Rs 4,318 crore is less than $1 billion, so in total you have secured about $5 billion for the project against $100 billion required, Mr. Hybrid Species. :lol:

And the Jaypee Group which invested in the formula 1 track came under a massive Rs56,000 crore or $10 billion debt and still struggling to repay that. Big lol :lol:
