What's new

Haters gonna hate but the future belongs to us! :D

Heavy haul/light haul whatever you may call it, the fact is DMIC is just a project of constructing a railway track and nothing else

LMAO,you are such an idiot - educate yourself about railways !!

The DFC Project is an important part of “Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) initiative”, which is a Japanese-Indian collaborative project for comprehensive infrastructure development to create India’s largest industrial belt zone by linking the industrial parks and harbors of the six states between Delhi and Mumbai in order to promote foreign export and direct investment, particularly those in Japan. Under the DMIC initiative, plans are also being implemented to create industrial parks and logistics bases with well-developed infrastructures in the area 150 kilometers to either side of the Western Corridor.

And what do you say about the construction of trunk infra in the first two of seven planned cities ?

Not only tracks the locomotives are also being upgraded. An MoU is already signed with CREC to construct an elevated highspeed railway between Dhaka and Chittagong.

You know what HSR is ? It wouldn't happen in BD in this decade..!!

Build a bloody meter double line between Dhaka and Chittagong then talk about HSR :omghaha:

Rs 4,318 crore is less than $1 billion, so in total you have secured about $5 billion for the project against $100 billion required, Mr. Hybrid Species.

You fool, its a total of $10 billion,$90 billion would come in later stages

And the Jaypee Group which invested in the formula 1 track came under a massive Rs56,000 crore debt and still struggling to repay that. Big lol

And they still go around investing in other projects another big

people suffering inferiority complex is high too

feeling inferior to a Bangladeshi ?

Lol It's only talking about infrastructure to link industrial parks and harbors which means the freight corridor, at least JICA will be funding only the railway tracks.

No I don't know what's HSR

And the MoU is signed with the Chinese, not Indians, so it's not a day dreaming of a Supa Pawa.

You fool, its a total of $10 billion,$90 billion would come in later stages

See you can get a calculator with you if you're having problems,

Rs 4,318 crore is equivalent to roughly $800 million + the $4 billion fund from JICA, in total you have secured only about $5 billion against $100 billion, good luck

And they still go around investing in other projects another big

They are actually selling their existing assets to repay the debt. And you are expecting these companies to invest in your DMIC.

You don't know to read ?

As for the planed cities, its already happening

And the MoU is signed with the Chinese, not Indians, so it's not a day dreaming of a Supa Pawa.

Yeah right - another MoU...

What happened to the billion dollar airport project ? Dhaka metro rail ?It will never happen

See you can get a calculator with you if you're having problems,

$ 90 billion from investors,$5 billion from Japanese $5 billion from GoI,clear ?

We have several investors - both Indian and foreign who are willing to invest in India. Now go cry elsewhere.

DMIC, 5 others in KPMG's most innovative 100 projects list

Mumbai: Global advisory firm KPMG has selected six upcoming urban infrastructure projects in the country, including the USD 90-billion Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), amongst its top 100 innovative global infrastructure projects.

The DMIC project comes under the global connectivity list and is placed as the second most-innovative project among the 100 most innovative projects.

The development of sustainable urban infrastructure is one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century, the agency said while releasing the report titled Infrastructure 100: World Cities Edition here Tuesday.

Even many of India's tier 4 towns are connected by better highways and broad gauge fully electrified double lines !!!

See the pics above & cry some more.

And Indian tier one cities do not even compare with Chinese tier 4 cities. Because that is where you should compare yourself.

Stop being stupid, seriously, and let the other nations in the region enjoy their success.

Yes we know that India will be a super power in year 4059 but till that happens, just zip it.

Too much talk from you Indians and very less on the ground.

Said who ?

Says the reality.

Go on take any ABC town in China, which they call tier 3-4 and compare it with your Mumbai.

You will very soon land on earth, down from the delusional horse you are riding.

Heck, even we Pakistanis despite having so many problems have better road infrastructure than you have in India. But we do not brag about it.

Let the neighbors enjoy their success and stop being such a child.

Under the DMIC initiative, plans are also being implemented to create industrial parks and logistics bases with well-developed infrastructures in the area 150 kilometers to either side of the Western Corridor.

"Plans are also being implemented", you need to put better effort to comprehend the literature. These industrial parks etc. may very well be under the plans but JICA would be funding only the freight corridor, you cannot have everything with only $4-$5 billion.

Yeah right - another MoU...

What happened to the billion dollar airport project ? Dhaka metro rail ?It will never happen

Yes, another MoU, but not with Indians.

The airport project was never a concrete one, however, the government seem to have revived the project.

And the same bla bla bla. Let me put the calulations again, JICA is funding $4 billion and Government of India has allocated Rs 5000 crore (or $800 million), so in total you have about $5 billion ensured, the rest $90 billion still requires an investor. Your links don't show anything on potential investors.

What is false there? Even Indians traveling in Pakistan were saying this.

Pakistan had motorways when India did not even dream about them. Go check your facts.

I find it very irritating that these Indians have to spoil every thread with their "Dehati Aurat" mentality.

They can't just digest the fact that another South Asian nation is doing well and is on the right path to progress.

The message they should get is that these nations should cherish each others success and not indulge into $%&§ measuring contest!

But Indians being Indians can never let their neighbors live in peace and see them progressing!

 there is only a gap of 4 years.

We are already ahead - we have a network of 24,000 km of 4/6 lane highways...and several expressways
