1. Where did this come from ?

2. Was it necessary on this thread ?

3. Do you think India would have wanted to make Mountbatten ' happy' or get from him what India wanted ?

Lool never knew Pakistan celebrates independence day.

Just for the record, why would Pakistan not celebrate its Independence Day ?

Funny thing, 15th August is Indian Independence day. But it is a National Holiday. So, in all private offices and other places of work, the celebrations are held one day before, i.e. 14th of August.

So, in a way, we all celebrate Pakistani independence day ?
