@Atanz Sir,

Relationships between Nations are the same as Relationships between people. There are times where there are strains, but in the end, relations can be restored. For example, the relationship between Japan and the United States. Now, Currently, we have an almost unshakeable bond of friendship and cooperation that crosses various sectors --- economic, political, defense, cultural, social. Yet this was not always so. There was a time when we Japanese were at war with the Americans; relations were at an all time low. Yet in 70 years, after the end of the War, relations had been restored, even catapulted to new highs. Relations between Pakistan and the United States will re-orient for the better. It will take time, but even as we speak, we are seeing the gradual restoration....

As ever thank you for your words of wisdom. I am quite a history buff and I firmly believe that there would have been no Pakistan by now had USA not helped us through the difficult 1950s, 1960s which laid the foundation of our country. Have a look at this image of a US Marine chopper over Tarbela Dam, Pakistan taken in 2005 when US helped with the giant earthquake in Pakistan. US helicopters provided relief to communties in the mountains with fuel and food. The dam which source of significant hydro power in the foreground was built in 1960s with help of US grants.
