Gujarat: 114 Pakistanis are Indian citizens now

Does the figure includes the migration of partition because highly unlikely that 2 million Kashmiris migrated out of India, because Muslims in Kashmir would become minority if not vanish if such large numbers are true.

Can't be zero realistically.

No, after partition people were given citizenship and settled. Besides that, India didnt issue citizenship to people migrating so any documents they hold would be registered to Britain and not India.

2 million is not necessarily entirely Kashmiri like I said, there are plenty of other Indian ethnicities in Pakistan including a lot of Tamils living in Karachi.

Indian Muslims Most Deprived:

Muslims in India are the most deprived among various groups. In fact, they are worse off than even the lowest caste Hindus called Dalits or untouchables, according to data available from multiple sources, including Indian government report. They suffer from widespread discrimination at the hands of the Hindu majority in education, employment, housing and in the criminal justice system. They have significantly lower levels of development than their Hindu counterparts. So why don't they all migrate out of India?

Why Don't Indian Muslims Leave India?

This question of why don't all of the Muslims migrate out of India to Pakistan and other Muslim nations is most often asked by the Hindu Nationalists who seek to make their country 100% "Hindu Rashtra".

The question, however, does deserve an answer. And the answer is: Poorest and least developed people tend to stay put where they are; they do not migrate. It's only people who have a certain level of income and skills who are more likely to migrate to other countries for better opportunities. This fact has been well-established by multiple studies conducted in Africa.

Here's an except of African Development Bank report on migration:

"Results show that despite increase in the absolute number of migrants, Africa, particularly SubSaharan Africa has one of the lowest rate of emigration in the world .... Poorer countries generally have lower rate of emigration ......Bad socio-economic conditions generally seem to lead to higher rate of emigration by highly skilled individuals. Generally, migration is driven by motives to improve livelihoods with notable evidence on changes in labor market status. Often, self-employed or unemployed émigré ended up in wage employment. The paper outlines policy issues emerging from the migration trend in Africa."

The Poorest Least Likely to Emigrate:

Data shows that increased human and economic development is initially associated with increasing emigration. Any form of development in the poorest countries of the world is therefore likely to lead to accelerating emigration. Such findings contradict conventional thinking and force us to radically change our views on migration. Such rethinking can be achieved by learning to see migration as an intrinsic part of broader development processes rather than as a problem to be solved, or the temporary response to development “disequilibria”, according to The Conversation, a US publication.

Yes I am sure

The above pics are of Pro Pakistani Separatists. Likewise you can also count Balochi seperatists

.
Summary:

There is a strong inverse correlation between poverty and emigration. The poorest citizens of a developing country are least likely to emigrate. People with higher education and better skills are most likely to leave developing nations for better opportunities abroad. This data explains why Indian Muslims, most of whom are worse off than the untouchables, tend to leave India in proportionally much smaller numbers than their Hindu counterparts.

The Indian SACHAR committee report also talks about similar things...Living conditions of Muslims in India are worst than DALITS

Condition of Muslims worse than Dalits': Heptullah

`Sachar report has exposed the real face of secularism'

Heptullah says she could not do much for uplift of Muslims `The socio-economic condition of Muslims is known to all'

LUCKNOW: Bharatiya Janata Party MP and the former Deputy Chairperson of Rajya Sabha, Najma Heptullah, said the Sachar Committee report on the status of Muslims had exposed the real face of secularism.

She said it had also brought to the fore the role played by the parties which harped on secularism.

Addressing a press conference, Ms. Heptullah said the condition of Muslims after over 50 years of Independence was worse than that of the Dalits. She said the Muslims should have progressed accordingly but unfortunately, that had not been the case.

Nandlal Meghani's, Dr Vishandas Mankani's and Kishanlal Andani's joy knows no bounds. They are among the 114 Pakistan citizens to have received Indian citizenship. The recipients will receive their citizenship certificates today.

High crime rate in Pakistan

Sharing his joy with Mirror, Nandlal Meghani, 50, a resident of Ghatlodia, said, "I along with my wife and daughter came to India 16 years ago from Sindh in Pakistan. We sold our home and business to make a new start here in India. We were impressed with the common man's life here as soon as we arrived and applied for the Indian citizenship. The main reason to opt for Indian citizenship was the high crime rate in Pakistan. Even our Muslim friends back in Pakistan encouraged us to shift to India, looking at widespread terrorism there." Meghani was engaged in auto parts business in Pakistan. In India, he started afresh by starting a home renovation firm. His sons are engaged in medical stores.

'Terrorism made life hell for us'

Kishanlal Andani, 59, said, "I had migrated to India in 2005 with my wife and four sons. My sons will arrive tomorrow and we plan to apply for Indian citizenship for our daughter-in-laws as well." Andani owned a general store in Tharpakar town of Sindh province in Pakistan. In India he has started a utensils shop along with his children. With tears welling up in his eyes, Andani said, "I often think about the place I left behind and my friends there. However, the menace of terrorism had made it difficult for us to survive. When we ventured out every day, we remained unsure whether we would return home in the evening. My Muslim friends there stood by me when riots broke out over the issue of a local temple and mosque. They offered me protection during the most critical time of our lives."

India is secure, more developed'

Appreciating the central government's move to grant collectorates power to decide upon applications, Dr Vishandas Mankani, 50, a resident of Sola Road who came to India in 2001 on visitor visa with four children, said, "I and my wife got citizenship in 2016. Now my children have also got it. We are impressed with development in India, which is absent in Pakistan. Safety is also something one can vouch for in India." Dr Mankani recently retired from medical practice while his sons run a mobile shop to earn livelihood.
