The government has a plan to procure warplanes for updating Bangladesh Air Force to make it time befitting.
Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, who is also in-charge of defence ministry in the Jatiya Sangsad, disclosed this while replying to a question from treasury bench member M Abdullah in the House on Sunday.
The minister told the House that the government has a plan to purchase medium range fixed wing transport aircraft, helicopter trainer and multirole combat aircraft (MRCA) for protecting country's independence and sovereignty as per the Forces Goal-2030. - See more at:
