یہ کارروائی پی ٹی آئی کی جانب سے ون نیشن ڈے کو منانے سے ایک روز پہلے کی گئی، جو دارالحکومت میں پارٹی کے دھرنے کو ایک ماہ پورے ہونے کے موقع پر منایا جارہا ہے۔

پولیس کے ہاتھوں گرفتار ہونے والوں پی ٹی آئی کے ساﺅنڈ مین ڈی جے بٹ، ڈاکٹر طاہر القادری کے دس ذاتی محافظ سمیت پی اے ٹی کی اتحادی مجلس وحدت المسلمین(ایم ڈبلیو ایم) کے رہنماءاسد عباس نقوی بھی شامل ہیں۔

ان گرفتاریوں کی خبر جنگل کی آگ کی طرح شارع دستور میں جاری احتجاج میں پھیل گئی اور ڈاکٹر طاہر القادری کی جانب سے جمعے کی صبح مظاہرین کو خبردار کیا گیا تھا کہ وہ دھرنے کو چھوڑ کر نہ جائیں کیونکہ پولیس نے کریک ڈاﺅن شروع کردیا ہے اور دونوں جماعتوں کے حامیوں کو اٹھایا جارہا ہے۔

ڈھائی ہزار پولیس اہلکار مختلف ٹیموں کی شکل میں چھار کر شہر کے متعدد علاقوں سے لوگوں کو حراست میں لیتے رہے، جن میں سیکٹر ایف سکس، ایف سیون، جی سکس اور جی سیون میں واقع گیسٹ ہاﺅسز اور ہوٹل بھی شامل تھے۔

اس کارروائی کی نگرانی ایس پی زبیر شیخ نے کی تاہم دھرنےک ے مقام سے کسی بھی شخص کو حراست میں نہیں لیا گیا۔

پولیس کا دعویٰ ہے کہ گرفتار ہونے والے افراد کے قبضے سے چھ رائفلیں، درجنوں دیگر ہتھیار اور ایمونیشن سمیت گزشتہ ہفتے کے تصادم کے دوران سیکیورٹی اہلکاروں سے چھینے گئے گیس ماسکس، شیلڈز اور دیگر اشیاءبرآمد کی گئی ہیں۔

آئی جی اسلام آباد طاہر عالم خان نے ڈان کو بتایا" یہ کریک ڈاﺅن دھرنوں کے خلاف نہیں کیا گیا تھا"۔

ان کا کہنا تھا " جو لوگ قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے ساتھ تصادم میں ملوث تھے، یا جنھوں نے اہم عمارات جیسے پارلیمنٹ ہاﺅس، ایوان صدر، کیبنٹ بلاک، پاکستان سیکرٹریٹ اور پاکستان ٹیلیویژن کے ہیڈکوارٹرز پر حملے کیے گئے انہیں حراست میں لیا گیا ہے"۔

پولیس ذرائع نے ڈان کو بتایا کہ طاہر القادری کی ذاتی سیکیورٹی پر مامور دس سابق ایس ایس جی کمانڈوز کو بھی سیکٹر جی سیون ستارہ مارکیٹ ایک گیسٹ ہاﺅس سے گرفتار کیا گیا، یہ افراد 2013 میں بھی طاہر القادری کے اسلام آباد میں مارچ کے دوران ان کے ہمراہ تھے۔

سیکٹر جی سکس میں ایم ڈبلیو ایم کے دفتر میں چھاپے کے دوران پولیس نے ایک درجن سے زائد کارکنوں اور رہنماءاسد عباس نقوی کو حراست میں لیا، جو کہ احتجاجی جماعتوں کی جانب سے حکومت سے مذاکرات کرنے والی ٹیم کے رکن بھی تھے۔

پی اے ٹی کے جھنگ سے تعلق رکھنے والے حامی محمد عارف نے ڈان کو بتایا کہ پولیس نے پارٹی ورکرز کو چند روز قبل ہی گرفتاریوں کی دھمکی دی تھی۔

اس نے دعویٰ کیا کہ کچھ ورکرز کو تشدد کا نشانہ بھی بنایا گیا اور ان کے پیسوں اور قیمتی اشیاءکو قبضے میں لے لیا گیا۔

محمد عارف کا کہنا تھا کہ پنجاب پولیس کے اہلکار"رویے کی خرابی" کے شکار ہیں" وہ ہمارے پارٹی ورکرز پر تشدد کررتے ہیں مگر اسلام آباد پولیس کافی مہذب ہے اور ہمارے کارکنوں کو اس ے بہت کم شکایات ہیں"۔

سوات سے آنے والے رفیق احمد جو پی ٹی آئی کے حامی ہیں نے ڈان کو بتایا"گزشتہ رات میرے خیمے کے ساتھ رہنے والے دو نوجوان لاپتہ ہوگئے تھے، یہ افواہیں موجود ہیں کہ انہیں پولیس نے اٹھالیا ہے"۔

پی ٹی آئی کے عہدیدار محمد علی مخدوم نے اس بات کی تصدیق کی کہ بڑی تعداد میں لوگوں کو پولیس نے حراست میں لیا ہے۔

انہوں نے بتایا"میں نے گرفتار شدگان سے پولیس سٹیشن میں ملاقات کی جبکہ پولیس حکام سے بھی بات کی، جن کا کہنا تھا کہ ان کارکنوں کو جلد چھوڑ دیا جائے گا"۔

انہوں نے کہا" یہ دباﺅ ڈالنے کا طریقہ ہے تاکہ ہمارے جوش اور ہفتے کی تقریبات کے لیے دھرنے میں شرکاءکی تعداد کو کم کیا جاسکے"۔

ان کا کہنا تھا "دفعہ 144کا نفاذ اور ڈبل سواری پر پابندی اسی کھیل کا حصہ ہے، یہاں کوئی دہشت گرد حملے کا خطرہ نہیں، ہم پرامن مظاہرین ہیں اور کسی پر حملہ کرنے کے خواہشمند نہیں، حکومت کو اپنے ان حربوں کا استعمال نہیں کرنا چاہئے"۔

Nandi poor is running on half the capacity right now. Some of the parts are being purchased new as the old ones that got rusted in Zardari's time, didn't work all the way. But the money isn't wasted. The dam and the power generation cycle is built right, as soon generator's parts are procured and replaced, the project will hit the peak. In fact, it'll include the next phased expansion too in the next 12 months. So you'll have doubled the capacity to produce electric generation.
