Gaza-Israel Conflict | October 2023

Very interesting analysis:

Israel ‘wants to injure Hamas but it doesn’t want to destroy Hamas’

Analysts have told Al Jazeera that Israel has no intention of destroying Hamas and that the continuing bombardment of Gaza will change nothing in the long term.

“The Israeli government has said that this will be a turning point. But I think, when the eventual ceasefire arrives, nothing will really change in the long term,” Martin Kear, Middle East analyst at the University of Sydney, said.

“Hamas will certainly be injured. I think Israel will seek to destroy as much of Hamas as possible while keeping enough of Hamas viable to administer the Gaza Strip.

“Israel, under my estimation, does not want to occupy Gaza, that will create an untenable security situation for Israel that it will not be prepared to be subjected to. It wants to injure Hamas but it doesn’t want to destroy Hamas,” he added.

I think Israel will not occupy or try anything silly like ground offensive in Gaza. They have already made that tiny strip a small prison. What would be the value added by adding a few sqkm but loosing thousands of their solders in ground offensive?
They are really playing mindgame with Hamas or anti Israeli forces to cause max damage to the Gaza people.

It wasn't going to happen. Even if Palestinians accepted the UN plan, it would never have worked. Israel wants to expand, it wants to be the ruling power of the world, it wants their messiah to come, the messiah will come when there are mass killings and wars, especially against the arabs.

International rules apply on Israel as well. Israel returned Sinai to Egypt in a peace deal in 1978 (Camp David Accords). It is important to find a solution that works for both Palestine and Israel. Rest is speculation.

Only a completely sick person can write something like that. SMD!
Sick person? Really? You are saying this after so many cynical posts cheering IDF bombings, where exactly cheered on Hamas to kill the Jews? Go through all of my posts and quote me will you? Oh, is has been all fun and games and giggle for you so far, what has changed? Have some consistency and carry on in the same style which you displayed so far, and cheer on on those pictures. Or. If you have any conciseness the don't talk here anymore and **** off. Have some principal, have some character or shame

Right.

Israel tries to avoid conflicts with other countries in the region. Israel wants peace, but they are constantly pushed into a corner and must be ruthless to continue to survive.

My logic is simple those who attack Muslims or suppory killing of muslims are wrong and if those wrong people are killed by any means.

Israeli people with zionism are the one I have 0 sympathy for.

While suicide bombings for other means that is to only spread terror without any cause that is wrong.

Hamas and palestine have cause so they are not wrong.

Any means? So you disagree with Islam? Interesting stance to take on here. Again not all Palestinians are Hamas and not all Israelis agree with settlers. What if Muslims attack Muslims? Where does your support and sympathy go then?

It applies, but who will enforce it? They have been violating all sorts of rules for decades.

If Israel invades Sinai under the pretext of eradicating Hamas, they will have a clear pass. Especially now that they have the media narrative and public sympathy in the West in their favour.

Pakistan thanks to Chutulu is albeit strongest

Pakistan is not strong at all lol.

India fired a missile and there was no response. India has also been firing on innocent people on the LoC and there has been no response.

. . .
Why does Syria not reply back to Israeli aggression? I know their Air force is no
match but they can at least fire cruise missiles for every Israeli raid,
