Hezbollah can definitely invade Israel from the north, Hezb has prepared for taht for a while, only key issue is timing- and with the way Gaza people just took over the border settlements with Israel, Hezb penetrating and holding territory of Israel's north is definitely possible. not sure how likely this time though.

The IDF will use overwhelming response with their army, airforce and navy to attack Hezbollah positions.

why havent IDF actuallly done this to Lebanon since 2006? that sounds like hezb has effective militarty deterrence against IDF, even with the IDF's airforce superiority- too much threat of deadly backlash from southern Lebanon if IDF violates Lebanon.

My guess is the Hamas and Hezbollah are doing this just when the Saudis and their allies were going to recognize Israel.

Maybe, but i dont see the relationship between the 2- actually Saudis signing a deal with Israel would be seen by Israel as a right to increase the pain on Palestinians, because it will feel Sasudis care less about what Israel does or means via actions such as policy and activity towards Palestinians.

This will have huge repercussions on diplomatic talks between Israel and the Arab countries.
