I have full of admiration for people who fight to the very end despite the impossible odds, you have to say the guy got enormous heart, whatever your perceptions about the Gaddafi regime, Saif Al Islam would have made a great reformist leader for Libya if the West had not intervene, a crying shame.

Your comments definitely ring bells.

Iran hosted Indian consulate in Zahidan for years... does this ring some bells?

he is bad because he would not represent west and american policies and give free and cheap oil to west.

West portray things in its favor .... anyone who gave them favor is good leader and anyone who threaten their interests is bad leader and terrorist .............................
they support dictatorship in many countries like Royal system in many Arab countries because they are in their interests but on the other hand they cry for democracy in those countries which are not fulfilling their interests

West are there for oil otherwise why not any action in Syria.
Please don't tell me whether they would care about the veto by Russia and China if they wanted to really help Syrians.

West helps country that have oil!! eg. Iraq, Libya etc. (greatest Shame)

Basically he was killed by the missionaries supported by the WEST ..... and he was accused by the same of having africians as missionaries..... how ironic :)
You mean "mercenaries" not "missionaries"...it's been widely reported since Spring that wholesale racial genocide of "dark-skinned" peoples have been going on all throughout eastern Libya and that now the "dark-skinned" Libyans in western Libya are either being forced into concentration camps and/or pushed west or south into the desert. It is an unfolding Humanitarian disaster that has been almost totally ignored by the mainstream Western media because it does not fit the narrative of democratic liberation of Libya.

T^ariqbhai you even pm SK to keeep away from Mossamania when Mossa was sticking up for these evil corrupt saudi royal family so it surprises me to see you happy at a muslim leaders death at the hands of western puppets. Gadaffi made many mistakes but which leaders dont? he did good as well. Why you ignore the good he did. Im not saying he is perfect but he make less mistakes than our corrupt american and zionist supporting leaders

---------- Post added at 03:51 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:49 PM ----------

Tariqbhai if gadaffi and his regime had no peoples support he would not have lasted 10 months against nato planes. What you call libyan rebels couldnt even get out of bengazi without american and nato support

Wah.. what hypocrisy. Gaddha killed thousands and actually ordered their executions and tortured them, but you are saying that he is not perfect but look at the good he has done for the people. (by the way, he did not do any good, he jut distributed a small portion of the oil wealth to stay in power). But when a man has not killed anyone , but only accused by others of inaction, you all say that he has to be killed and he has to die and bomb my country. You guys give all kinds of explanation and say that it does not matte how much good he has done for the people, he should be killed because he could not prevent a riot. That man is Narendra Modi and this is sheer hyprocrisy on all you Pakistanis supprting Gaddhafi.

The Kingdom of Libya, from 1951 to 1969, was marked by a feudal regime, where Libya had a low literacy rate of 10%, a low life expectancy of 57 years, and 40% of the population lived in shanties, tents, or caves.[1] The history of Libya under Muammar al-Gaddafi, from 1969 to 2011, was marked by a new regime called jamahiriya ("state of the masses"), a direct democracy political system established by Muammar Gaddafi in 1977.[2] Gaddafi officially stepped down from power in 1977, but continued to hold a symbolic role within the country's governance until 2011.[3][4]
Under Gaddafi's jamahiriya regime, the country's literacy rate rose to 90%, life expectancy rose to 77 years, equal rights were established for women and black people, employment opportunities were established for migrant workers, and welfare systems were introduced that allowed access to free education, free healthcare, and financial assistance for housing. The Great Manmade River was also built to allow free access to fresh water across large parts of the country.[1] In addition, financial support was provided for university scholarships and employment programs,[5] while the nation as a whole was largely debt-free.[6] As a result, Libya's Human Development Index in 2010 was the highest in Africa and greater than that of Saudi Arabia.[1] However, the country had been accused by the United States of having a poor human rights record, according to both the U.S. Department of State's report for 2004 and the Freedom House index of 2005.[7]

Gadaffi did support many mercenaries and terrorist groups and torture was used as an act of state policy , however , libyans benefitted a lot during his reign. If the wikipedia facts are true , then it is surprising how the rebels had so much public support.
