Future of Pakistan Bangladesh relations

India however started with a good industry thanks to British.

I mean you have 18-19 ordinance factories alone?

Pak & East Pak had 1 non functional mill and only 1 university.

The situation was so fuked up, people used didn't have paper in govt offices.

Yah defence wise (but Nehru put a good sock into it), but given population I am talking about overall industry + manufacturing base which really needs good policy frameworks from the govt (and unhindered credit and private sector unleashing) rather than over-socialist theory, owning all means of production (and finance) and tinkering with that as a govt. Like having a small gardening spot on a huge unkempt backyard that you just let fester. It was a huge problem all over region combined with the bad gardening tools (institutions) that atrophied a whole lot and kept their british raj stasis (rather than turning into enabling). Govt for sake of govt is bad idea always (good for limiting and controlling economic size, which is why its good for colonial mindset). Thankfully the concept is changing now, but it seemed we needed all that failure first when we could have responded a lot quicker to it as it got disproven.....but thats politics I guess.

So now bangladeshis are as powerful as America??????????..............lol.......
No...it's some Pakistani who talks big but can't deliver a rats @ss whether it is about nuking Bangladesh or shooting down American drone.
They do so with our permission lol, anyway, let's not talk about military prowess because Pakistan can undo the mistake that was Bangladesh with one push of a button.
They still do it....and will you guys only keep talking big? Declare BD as a hostile nation, nuke BD, liberate Kashmir, disintegrate India, Become supa pawa by 2050 and the list goes on.

They really were not. Can check UN statistics regarding life expectancy, infant mortality, population growth, literacy and HDI back calculated to 1980s etc.

Pretty much everyone was in the same basket economically (like does 100 bucks more matter if you only got 200 bucks in hand etc), and if anything India was ahead of Pakistan in several social parameters back then (BD took some time to get things started after 71 and surpass too etc)

Dude Pakistan was like 100 bucks ahead of India somewhere around 1995 when India had nominal GDP per capita of near 400USD. Pakistan were like 25% ahead of India. By 2006 India had overtaken Pakistan by 100 USD. Both Pak and India's nominal per capita was almost double of BD in 2006 which is not that long ago.

Can you elaborate as to how the ISI has a connection with Jammat of BD? If so, does ISI even have any influence over them? You said yourself Pak has very little influence in BD to change any mind. Just a typical boogeyman to scare the poor folks of BD 'ISI' the exact same Indian narrative. BD folks are more likely to be gunned by Indian BSF guards who have a habit of regularly target practising on innocent BD farmers. The real influence in BD is RAW.
Jamaat hardly has any influence in BD. When Jamaat was BNP in govt they blamed India for everything. Like JMB serial bombings. That being said ISI's influence in BD is minimal as Jamaat has become non-existent

I'm talking more along the lines of mortality, health, literacy etc. GDP (in USD nominal) was especially terrible measurement (development wise) before PPP came along anyway....but IMF didnt start that till the late 80s and ICP (better standardisation and basket) only started in the mid 90s.

Thats why HDI has India ahead of Pakistan in the 80s (back-calculated) with much less nominal GDP per capita.

The pronunciation is very hard i must say.

Is it Bongladesh or BANGladesh?

If u can't respect a country then i think u should not talk about that . who dn't klnow history talking wid them is like talking wid a cow.

We can't deliver???????............Pakistan is the ONLY nation in ALL recorded human history who has for 70 years managed to survive against an enemy nation that is more than 7x bigger than us and has abundant access to the world's most advanced weapons systems whilst we are denied this privilege.

It takes the world's most powerful nation to bomb and cause us problems. But they still can't destroy or subdue us.

Why would we want to nuke bangladesh? bangladesh is an irrelevant and meaningless nation as far as we are concerned. You are not and can NEVER be a threat to us. You Don't figure in our strategic plans. Nuking bangladesh would be like nuking the Eskimos of the North Pole. Completely meaningless, pointless and immoral.

Be it sport, economics or infamy etc. Let bangladesh 1st achieve ANYTHING on the world stage then come and talk. All else is meaningless conjecture.

So your achievements are nor being destroyed by others....good. Congrats

Not to mention becoming the 1st and only Muslim nuclear weapons state. Becoming one of only 3 Muslim countries that is self sufficient in the production of advanced weapons systems (other 2 being Iran & Turkey), CPEC INITIATIVE which will make Pakistan a developed/industrialized nation. To a much lesser extent, winning the 1992 Cricket World Cup, 2009 T20 World Cup & 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. Beating England in a test match in England in 1952. The year we were given test status and only 5 years after Pakistan was formed. Amir Khan the former 2 time world boxing champion is a Pakistani as is the legendary Squash player Jehangir Khan. The Pakistani race is a beautiful, resilient and dynamic one. We have excellent cuisine.

Yeah but when you talk about your achievements you first talk about not getting wrecked by others. Then your nukes and weapons. Are you guys preparing for WW3?

To be quite Frank, we have been since August the 14th 1947. If we hadn't, a fate far worst than the holocaust, the genocide of the Red Indians, oppression of the Palestinians & Rohinga await us. What the Sikhs did to the Pakistanis in 1947 is clear evidence of this. If Pakistan did not have a powerful military, our race would cease to exist.

Sometimes you do take things a tad overboard mate.

We're making sure that Hindustan never has a chance to destroy us, like they almost did in 1971.

What advanced weapons system can Pakistan produce all by itself?

We can make virtually all of them ourselves but we still need some small amount of foreign assistance. I am not denying that. But within the next 10-15 years, Pakistan will be completely self-sufficient in the production of advanced weapons systems. The JF-17 program, Al-Khalid MBT program, Shaheen Missile series and our recent testing of our SLCM to name a few have put us on this definitive path.

Not really.
Fighters and tanks will be out of the reach for Pakistan as you do not have the industrial base
to make all the components by yourself. A 3rd world country simply cannot produce the complex
systems needed for major cutting edge systems.
Missiles are doable though.

The only major "component" we don't produce for tanks or jets is the power plant.

Which we might .. if reports about the Ukrainian deal come true.

Between AKII is coming...

Aswell as a new MLRS

And so is JF Block III.

Among other things..

While by the end of 2018.. our seeemce exports shall rise to over 1 billion..

So yes we are on the right track.
