You should look at the bright side: the French now will offer nuclear submarines to other countries in Far East.Bunch of ppl working hard to secured the deal, contract signed, the preparation has begun for a while and then scrap off the contract just like that, frenchi has every reason to get upset.
You are probably talking about Singapore and Indonesia, these two are the only two that can afford French nuclear sub when it comes up to my mind. You should look at the bright side: the French now will offer nuclear submarines to other countries in Far East.
I think the market is there. There are certain countries close to your country that want nuclear technology.
More like French will sell more to China besides just helicopters. The way Argentine looking for Fighter Jet and probably signing for JF-17 Thunder Block-III, they can get the best out of situation and France will arm them in anger against Falkland UK. The next argument by usual trolls and conspiracy theorists.
Indian can help France and can milk the situation like Banya does so.... IN already looking for subs...but....but...how can they betray Russia now.
Economically, how can Russia be an alternative to the US? With the world moving towards green energy, the demand for Russian energy supply may also wane in future. America's monstrous consumer market along with their dominant cultural influence will mean that the prosperous western Europe will continue to side with USA.I hope one day Europeans will understand America, unlike Russia - is not part of Europe, never was and never will be. And can not be in principle, because they are living on the other side of the planet.
I am not talking about economical alternative. Besides USA economy will fall with the falling of their global influence and dollar as world currency. I am talking about common interests and common challenges. USA and its anticulture is one of the main threat to Europe, including Russia.Economically, how can Russia be an alternative to the US? What are the common interests and challenges for Russia and western Europe? The countries in the west of the continent are actually worried that Russia is planning to bring back Soviet Union by taking over the Eastern side. I see alignment of security interests between Russia and China. But not between Russia and Europe.I am not talking about economical alternative. Our common threats and challenges - climate of Europe, pseudo-Islamic terrorism, demography, American globalism destroying national cultures of European countries, American-made wars and "revolutions" destroying states in Europe and neighboring with Europe. Western Europeans are quite pro-Russian. And without Britain in EU Europe will have great opportunities to make common policy. It is American interference force them to make anti-Russian moves. But Europeans start to resist those outsider's pressure - Nord Stream 2 is clear example. What are the common interests and challenges for Russia and western Europe? As for American economic decline, that is only a biased speculation for now. Even in this pandemic period, the American economy is predicted to grow.
I agree that Europe currently needs Russia for energy supply. Germany did swim against American pressure to accommodate the project. It is possible that other countries in Europe may also be interested in Russian energy supply if it is economically lucrative. But in future, emerging green energy technologies could potentially alleviate this dependency. Our common threats and challenges - climate of Europe, pseudo-Islamic terrorism, demography, American globalism destroying national cultures of European countries, American-made wars and "revolutions" destroying states in Europe and neighboring with Europe. Subway issues brutal swipe at France
FAST food chain Subway has released a mocking newspaper ad referencing the newly-formed AUKUS security partnership.www.express.co.uk
Subway "Torpedoes". ... lol ..
The Aukus announcement timing was particularly offensive to the bloc, with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell due to unveil Europe's woolly Indo-Pacific strategy on Thursday, which was significantly outplayed by the move.
