Currently it is an import substitution economy, striving to become a high tech exporter. Turkey on the other hand, is an export based economy most apricots, textiles and products of sweat shops for Europe. This and the tourism industry of Turkey with its night clubs and colorful bars etc.

Iran can not have those things. Iran prefers to become a nuclear exporter, satellite launcher, high tech economy. Sweat shops, apricots and night clubs serving the foreigners are not an Iranian thing. Nothing wrong with either. It is just a matter of taste. Iranian nation's taste is in space and nuclear technology. Turkish nation taste is in apricots and night clubs.

Azaris are Iranians and living in their country for thousands of years. Their history is not comparable to Turks in middle east at all! History of Turks and Mongols in ME is not longer than 800 years.

Iran is organized from various races and Not only Persians. Whole of those races are living in EranShahr and they are Iranian, not any country else.
