Not testing, testing is not done by IAF, its ADA and HAL job.Its just for testing purpose. IAF hasn,t inducted any LCA in its combat squadrons.

Eight?all eight of them? If I am right their are total Eight of them
Yeah Heard it from an India friend that Eight Tejas r inducted by IAF for TACDEEight?
Check your fact again, which is inducted and which is not.Yeah Heard it from an India friend that Eight Tejas r inducted by IAF for TACDE
For TACDE only two planes required not a whole squadron.IAF for TACDE
i think every one has given you answerplz show where is ''already inducted'' Tejas? active in which squadern of IAF?
no i am notu r hearing wrong improve ur source of info plz
if all delta wing is french design then gripen and j10 is also french designJf17 is indigenous just like Tejas is indigenous.
55% Thunder is manufactured in Pakistan.
And Tejas? I guess 100% manufactured in India except French design. American engine, Israeli radar, Russians weaponry and Swedish support in design improvement
U guys just lost ''mother of all deals'' and now r getting angry on Thunder ............... I highly recommend bernol

You just had to bring in the JF-17 into it, didn't you?Lets see Jf17 Blk II is inducted first or Tejas Blk 1? Love to see Thunder 2 in our arsenal and Indians saying ''hmara Tejas bus ane hi wala he''
Hi,a plane can be called indigenous when everything in it is from a company from your country.
the development and infrastructure/eco-system creation India has had to set up IN INDIA as a result of the LCA project is in no way replicated by the licence production going on at PAC.
Bhai ladlo nako tum logaan....
mereko itna batao ki ......
If india 2moro decides no more Tejas..... then what is a worthy successor to migs out there in the market.....
just curious!!
Actually the idea is to fill the gaps and that's why they are pushing for Tejas...however at some stage they would be forced to take a call given Rafael deal will take time(apart from 36) and Migs are going to retire in 6 years...that doesn't leave you will lot of time or options....Gripen , but it would be utterly foolish to shutdown Tejas Project.
Just one question....why do we compare JF-17 with Tejas or anything like that...not sure about the probability of Tejas and JF-17 fight should push come to shove...no??You just had to bring in the JF-17 into it, didn't you?
Just for your information let me inform you that the LCA Mk.1 set to enter service this year will be more capable than the Blk.2 JF-17 you are inducting- there are many key systems the MK.1 LCA is coming with that your Blk.2 JF-17 is STILL yet to be delivered with or has proven.
Anyway, anyone who would truly consider the JF-17 as Pakistan's home-grown alternative to India's LCA is just plain dumb, the development and infrastructure/eco-system creation India has had to set up IN INDIA as a result of the LCA project is in no way replicated by the licence production going on at PAC.
Many Pakistanis love to poke fun at and demean HAL and the LC project but we all know you would give your right arms for a company as capable and a product as indigenous and impressive of your own.
