Most people don't care, apart from the Mullah brigade maybe but most Pakistanis are concerned about jobs, electricity, corrupt politicians. I know you have your own agenda of maligning Pakistan but keep your hatred to yourself. Cheers.

Got it.

Except this part, about how recalling this anniversary is somehow "maligning Pakistan".

My house was like around 20 minutes by walk from where he was found . We were spending our summer season in Abbotabad that year . When i saw the news I couldn't believe the most wanted man in the world was so near us :lol:

Nopes Nothing . 2 years earlier we had a house in that particular colony(Bilal town to be precise) I never saw that house for some reason .

I was asleep got to know of it in the morning . Our House was Near PMA so hearing bullets firing , choppers flying overhead is pretty common sight in Abbotabad .

.
I think it has been longer than 5 years.

@Solomon2

It's been 22 years without Baruch Goldstein. How do Israelis feel about this? Happy? Sad? Angry? Forgetful?

The Osama Bin Laden and the Saddam Hussein are your Made in USA brands, they served the American government interest well but their usefulness is over. Now anther Made in USA brand takes the stage: ISIS!

You're upset the protective umbrella hiding OBL was successfully violated?

no i wish pakistani forces killed him
This was 2011. Pakistan was still busy throwing peanuts to satisfy the proportion of its population that supported al Qaeda and supporting the Taliban as "strategic depth." Every Administration since 9/11 had tried the route of notifying Pakistan of high-ranking Al-Q and Taliban whereabouts, but with only one exception I can think of - Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (after he killed an American reporter) - they all disappeared before the arrival of Pakistani law enforcment. Sometimes the Americans even watched this happen by drone or sattellite, if I recall correctly.

If Pakistan's representative institutions grow stronger in moral and legal legitimacy, its will to defy violent extremists, rather than accommodate them, may also grow stronger.
