General Raheel requested a NRO and was granted one, infact IMCTC and Saudi government approached our government and asked for his appointment.

I agree that our military leaders should not work abroad however General Raheel’s case is somewhat different. He is heading an organisation similar to a small version of NATO. The chief of both organisations are Army Generals.

You see that makes him anti Iran,which makes him controversial since large amount of Muslims in Pakistan follow Jafri school.

It doesn’t make him anti Iran. During his tenure as COAS he went to Iran and Saudi in an attempt to smoothen relations between both nations.

When joining IMCTC he put down a few demands, one of whic was that Iran should be a part of the alliance.

We need a public face of President which will show that we are a New Pakistan with a fresh start. Woman President is a good idea and progressive.

Btw, I hope they keep Maleeha Lodhi in the govt, she has done great things to give the soft and gentle nature of Pakistan and our focus on women’s rights.
