Fighting hopelessness: Panama Case, JIT and the confusions

.
Our options are
A) wake up, look around, and vote smarter in 2018. Seriously, there was a -60% voter turnout in 2013. We will need to heavily improve on that.
B) protest if the water falls far from the apple. Anything unjust happening in JIT, and we need to come out on the streets. Without thinking "hey, protests solve nothing. They won't listen to us". They may not, but at protests you express where you stand and how you think.
C) become really aware of how the things are operating. We need to be able to know exactly what is happening in JIT investigations that they release publicly, who they appoint in the team, what is their service record, etc. Fine details. And we need the population to be aware about that as much as we can.

((I'll add more when I think of them))
Well actually, this is what i am proposing as well. Or at least spread this awareness across as people are being made to believe that the case is already over and SC have declared NS innocent. Please spread the word that this is not the case and that NO ONE have declared Nawaz innocent. In fact, 2 judges have found him guilty already and the other 3 have asked for him to be investigated further. If we can segregate Panama case in two parts, Panama 1 have beena total failure for Nawaz and Co.

PREACH: the misinformation in this case being weaved by propaganda machines is mind boggling

Excellent post. You explained it all beautifully there. Thank you.

I agree with you Arsalan - there is hope and hopelessness both sentiments are borne by people wanting change. Your posts are always insightful and gives me optimism for which I thank you once again! Thanks bro!!!

The only content person in our current system will be either direct or indirect beneficiary of current system.
Mostly true. Plus there are some who just are too afraid to try a new system as they think they might not be compatible with it. Also a few that see no better alternative and frankly speaking, Imran Khan have dont not much to change that preception. Stupid mistakes, one after another have pissed quite a lot of people.

Different humans react differently - if you have seen zillion failures; you might be ready for different result on zillion and one'th time others may have reached that point where from their heart they want change but in their minds they know if it happened zillion times chances of change are 0:Zillion.

This possibility of change that we all are talking about today is largely because of restless campaign by PTI in last few years - if we eliminate IK chapter since 2012 then we are left with same traditional politics - which means no chance of accountability and always being above the law till bigger goon comes and defeats the other.

To bring positive change in a system where institutions were made to decay in a systematic and very deliberate manner - incremental improvements does not bear results - like incremental improvements in candles did not invent electricity - there has to be a jolt/shake to the system.

I believe PTI is far far from perfect now because of realism - it started off with idealism but when they were routed in elections they thought about it - either bring the change at grassroots level in education and health and wait to see the results (18-25 years) and then start participating in current election system or do compromise and find the right balance between electables and idealist leaders. The reality is Legharis, Makhdooms, Jatois, Khars, Bhuttos, Sharifs in their constituencies will win no matter which nationalist and pro Pakistani educated person is PTI's candidate.

Pakistans situation is quite unique and requires compromises to enter into the power corridors.
A sad reality.

Suppose; this case gets decided exactly like zillion other cases before this one - what will you say then?
I am quite confident that it wont happen but if it does, to be honest, i will wait for the next trial, the next opportunity to bounce back. Frankly speaking, the system and things as they are right now wont survive beyond 15-20 years at best. Things will have to change. We will have to get out of that notion of choosing the best from the worst. Otherwise, it will all collapse!

Lol you are quoting rauf klasra and amir mateen
To tell you the truth, i do know that Rauf Klasra is, a journalist. I have no idea about Amir Mateen. This is the truth.

I am not quoting any journalist here sir. I am just stating what i think is right. I am a human and might be wrong so i just say all this as my opinion.

You are the actual idiot here.
LOLz. You people get triggered very easily.

People like you remind me of little kids who foolishly aspire to become the PM when asked by their parents.
"Ammi, mein bara ho kar PM banoon ga"

I wanted to join the army when I was a kid and want to become a martyr.:rofl::rofl: Now when I reflect back on my childhood dreams, I realise how stupid I was. Now as an adult, I wonder why in hell should I join the military and get myself killed. My parents sometimes tease me by reminding my childhood fantasies.:lol::lol:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Political extremists and fanboys in the forum have not grown out of their childhood fantasies. Eliminating corruption and making Pakistan like Switzerland is a stupid dream which is only appropriate for kids to have.

Corruption is an essential part of our culture and there is nothing wrong with it if it's in some limits. As an adult, I am mature enough to embrace it as a reality.

Any grown up adult, who is deluded by UTOPIAN ideals is considered abnormal and immature. Imran Khan is one such idiot who talks from his behind despite being a 65+ old fart. He talks like a little spoiled brat.

Let me explain to you what corruption does:
A) it ruins lives of countless families
B) it turns the economy of a country to shit
C) it takes away the right of all people to be treated fairly (which includes you too)
D) it further increase problems such as wage gaps and poor-to-rich ratio.

Still think corruption's okay?

Nah, we need Shokat back.

.
A cat has how many lives?

NS is running out ... Sharif dynasty is coming to an end and like any dynasty (if one reads history) it will be a grand exit/implosion. NS should realise that he can escape to a relatively comfortable life but he's being tugged by others to stay and fight, and these others are doing so on an agenda he just can't seem to get through his thick skin into his brain.

This has got to rate as the most immature post i have read. So according to u corruption is ok. So stealing is also ok? Plundering is also ok? Ruining the lives of people is also ok? Giving and taking bribes is also ok? Coz thats all the result of corruption

this song came to mind ... not heard in over a decade or more ..

"Wind Of Change"

I follow the Moskva
Down to Gorky Park
Listening to the wind of change
An August summer night
Soldiers passing by
Listening to the wind of change

The world is closing in
Did you ever think
That we could be so close, like brothers
The future's in the air
I can feel it everywhere
Blowing with the wind of change

Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
in the wind of change

Walking down the street
Distant memories
Are buried in the past forever
I follow the Moskva
Down to Gorky Park
Listening to the wind of change

Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
With you and me
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
in the wind of change

The wind of change
Blows straight into the face of time
Like a stormwind that will ring the freedom bell
For peace of mind
Let your balalaika sing
What my guitar wants to say

Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
With you and me
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
in the wind of change
