FC-31 = J-31?

Export variant with a couple of minor differences, can be tailored for customers needs.

I feel like there is something I don't about it that makes it totally awesome.

no offense, thinking of such a costly F35 for PAF is like just dreaming.
also PAF is not considering F35 with past and current relation with US.
if PAF even start thinking with current progress it will take 10-15 years for just arranging budget and building resources...

its all china or Non-US jets for PAF now.

If they can't get F35, FC31 is there for them. But it might cause delay in 5 than gen fighter induction. Sir, the FC-31 2.0 and future modifications have Pakistani input based on their experience and knowledge of the US platforms. They've helped you with those things before in various other projects too. And there is no hiding, everyone knows the FC-31 is being designed initially only for Pakistan. The Chinese AF or Navy havn't shown interest yet.

Sir fc31 should not be the backup plan ... it shoukd be the plan ...

Paf can have change specifications like avionics and other sensor suit of other suppliers but paf should go for license production of fc31 ...

We trust china ... by now we should have learn that us has no morale principle and is working his own interests only ...

Yesterday a Pakistani member said he want Tukey put liscensed produced EJ200 on FC31, I like the idea.
