Face Veil removal request in Western Countries

The Council of Ideology is a government appointed non-entity whose recommendations the government itself doesn't follow, whom the liberals slag off for whatever views it has presented, and whom the conservatives do not trust.

The Egyptian university Al-Azhar is considered authentic by the likes of American politicians. Amongst true Muslims, it has lost its credibility because of leaning too much towards worldliness and materialistic gains.

There is a huge difference between a 'prominent figure', and an 'authentic figure'. From Wikipedia, it becomes clear that he was a prominently controversial figure, whose views were rejected by his contemporaries.

So, you are trying to spread misinformation based on the rejected views of a controversial figure. Definitely a Rafadhi ploy, if ever there was one.

Again, you are entitled to your own opinion (but of course not to your own facts)

You are free to reject Al-Azhar, Council of Islamic ideology, Albani, Zakir Nayak and anyone else you want.

But accusing them all of deliberately propagating Rawafidh views and misleading Muslim masses only makes you look like an idiot.

No, it makes them look like the non-authorities they are.

I want people to refer back to this post.

And not make things up like face covering is 'Fardh'.

Keep to the topic.

Nobody is 'making up' the fact that face covering is 'Fardh'. A discussion on face veil shall be intimately tied with Islam and its teachings because if it were not for that fact, it wouldn't be practiced and would be a non-issue.

If on your thread people start propagating false knowledge against Islam, people are going to counter the falsehood with facts.

I, unlike you and @Zarvan, am not lying, nor am I presenting my "own" views

Read post # 153 and 191

I have quoted two of the most prominent Hanbali/Salafist scholars...... Not my own words

Report/abuse them for falsely projecting the Shia view as majority view.

Try again
YES you are presenting your own views and also not telling truth. Among scholars from all school of thoughts around 80 % consider Niqab compulsory and other 20 % say not compulsory but preferred and as for Shias well majority of them Don't consider it cars but preferred

. .
Back in the 12-14th centuries and earlier, the face veil was a definite part of the attire of Christian women. It was abolished, like many other aspects of religion, under the Renaissance movement.
It continued well into the 18th-19th century in rural European cultures apart from the more developed Western European states

Please tell us where did you get those figures from ?

I have quoted/cited references ... Not my "own" views

You have quoted hardly any. And you would also know these figures if you study and show the audacity to tell the truth

. . .
We are definitely not a minority, we ARE the majority, Alhamdolillah. Try getting face veils banned in Pakistan, see what happens.

Alhamdulillah, you are a tiny minority.

Who is calling for face veil ban in Pakistan ??

Trying to create a strawman now ??

Yes, I have .. It's there for everyone to see

Now backup those figures/claims if you can

Hi,

Sir, who are you trying to kid? Go and read the poem on the statue of liberty and then talk about how you "don't claim to be the chosen one" ... or just revisit your reasoning for intervening in conflicts ... whats the pet sentence ... "we're going to bring freedom and democracy to xyz country" .. oh and don't start with the whole religion thing when president Bush, a guy you people put in office was the same one who claimed that "God told me to end the tyranny in Iraq" ...

-Again, your just typing stuff that comes to your mind based on your experience. Your judging 200 million people based on your experience of a few. I'm not surprised to see that you have no answers for FACTS, statistics that say that every 98 seconds a woman is sexually assaulted in YOUR country while every 8 minutes that victim just happens to be a kid. Smells like hypocrisy to me, which shouldn't really surprise anyone. I mean what is it now "Chemical weapons are bad" unless it's the US nuking Japan or dropping Napalm on children of Vietnam. Should I remind people about the acts of the priests of the Roman Catholic churches as well ? Genocide is bad unless it's you guys committing it against the red Indians ... Inequality is bad until it's the blacks on the receiving end, be it 300 years of slavery with lynching of black men or raping black women or police shootings of black kids in the modern day etc etc. Better not say something about Israel because it's 'anti Semitic', but when it came time to act you were the same ones that barred the jews fleeing from Nazi Germany to enter in to the US. The US loves to talk about the horrors of concentration camps, but you were the same ones that put Japanese Americans in internment camps. And as far as the story regarding your colleague, let's not forget that YOUR people just elected someone who said " I grab them by the pu$$y" .. He was the republican nominee, a party with the conservative/ religious people as their base... and btw how do YOU know that 200 million of us aren't doing anything to correct or better the conditions at play, just look at the mind set of the average pdf member and you can see where he or she stands on what you mentioned.

Like I said before, if you can stereotype my countrymen by the worst among us, do note that we can respond in kind, with interest.

Your idea of bringing Zarwan is rubbish. My thread has gone from 'a sensible move for women in West to remove the Niqab' to 'it's FARZ will be till day of judgement!'

No, I am showing how ineffective your minority is. A majority can make changes through consensus. If you are the majority, make the change you want. Claiming something as 'Fardh' when it is actually not 'Fardh' is a big thing. Such an enormity should be countered by the majority and expunged from the country. Why don't you make this happen?
