F-35s Struggle To Fly! Frustrated South Korea Says Its US-Origin Stealth Fighters Marred By Defects

.
The F 35 sales to US allies(more like vassals )is the highest level of open fraud-like sales exhibition the world have ever seen.

There's a saying in the West if you don't have a better idea don't stand up pointing your finger saying somebody else's idea is dumb.

Basically can you name the plane they should be buying..if you can't then sit down.

That mostly because they don't know what other lineage of white people other than Anglo-Saxon. Hence all white people are Anglo-Saxon......

My wife laughed out very loud on this one...She's white, but not Anglo-Saxon.....in fact if I remember correctly, her ancestors were slaughtered by the Anglo-Saxon in Europe.

I'm just going to start calling them all Han's...just so they can see how stupid it sounds...or better yet Yamato.

The fact that you can't find such about the J-20 doesn't mean the J-20 is free of all defects. It means you will discover these defects when the J-20 fails in battle.
If the CPC said no J-20 crashed, then no J-20 crashed. If the CPC said the sky is green, then the sky is green. Simple as that.

Finally as of October 2022 840 F-35's have been built and is being operated by more than a dozen nations around the world. While the J-20's perform slow lazy 8's around its own airfield. It's really hard to crash when you aren't pushing the boundaries of your platform.
Those lazy 8s airshow maneuvers are the boundaries of the J-20's performance.

First Japan now S. Korea, it seems whoever is following the US is suffering setbacks!

I don't know which country you are from but you seem to be ignorant and ill informed. Your hatred of politics and US dominance aside, this thread is about F-35 performance.

The F-35 is the latest of aircraft lines introduced by the US and then its allies. Interoperability leads to better operations as allies. Those in NATO, and those outside.

F-104, F-4 Phantom, F-16, and now F-35. If you take the F-16 as an example, Israel and Pakistan both shot down a large number (together total of 75+) Soviet made aircraft without losing any.

That is the track record and precedence set that F-35 replicates. I don't believe your flag representing India is accurate. While Indians on this forum tend to disagree with others, but they still come with facts for their argument. Not worthless emotions with no knowledge of military or aircraft history.

He is a NorthEast tribal living in India who thinks of himself as a proud East Asian.

We all live in our own private Idaho's.....to each their own.

Maintaining F35 is difficult task, let alone the number of operators it has and complex supply chain of the spare parts it has.

That Korean statement I believe comes from Korean who support KF21 program and the intend of them to reveal that is to urge Korean government to not add F35 planes, but should instead wait for KF21 program to be ready being mass produced in 2027 inshaAllah.

You are so naive to think that crashed can be hide with nowadays plenty of cell phone camera and fast uploading of news.

And we are even talking about a land based fighter plane which unlikely to crashed in deep open ocean which incident can be conceal.

More like you are a sourgrape that J-20 has a perfect record so far compare to F-35.

Now u start to change subject. And you think US will be truthful in all their report? This news is reported by south Korea which is of cos no interest to save face for USA.
Chinese suppressing information on J-20 and putting to jail anybody that will talk about it does not make it a perfect aircraft. For all we know it only flies in airshows and hasn't done any military ops ever. Afterall Chinese Navy pilots don't land on carriers at night. So there are no night crashes. That doesn't make Chinese Naval aviation superior.

Also, crime rate in Beijing has dropped ahead of the big congress. Why? Because 1M criminals put in jail arbitrarily, and restrictions on anybody entering the city that doesn't live there. This is what your J20 analogy reminds me of.

First Japan now S. Korea, it seems whoever is following the US is suffering setbacks!
Then China should not get s*(t scared every time US supplies Taiwan with weapons. In fact with this sort of a track record in Japan and S. Korea, we should expect Xi to be lobbying the US to sell F-35s to Taiwan.

Reality is the minute there is even talk about it, the Xi will be up in arms about the imbalance in power

The West used to mock Russian fighter jets for being high maintaince..

Look how the tides have turned.

F-35 is snake oil, bulky, slow

If it was real deal US wouldnt have exported it to other countries.

Does Israel ever share its Iron Dome tech? No.
Israel exported the Iron Dome just like the US exported the F-35.

However both the US and Israel don't allow access to the source code of the F35/Iron Dome (Except mutually between Israel and the US, US is the only country allowed to modify/integrate the Tamir interceptors and Israel is the only country that has access to the source code of the F-35), let alone technology transfer.

Export is not the same as technology sharing.

F35 is a unremarkable plane. it tries to do so many different things and it makes it mediocre, bring back Specialized Aircraft!
The problem is not to try to do various things, the problem is that LM want to developp a multi mission plane in a single standard, the first one !
Look at F15, F16, Rafale, EF2000 : first a air to air std was studied. Then air to ground. Then air to ships, recce, etc.... A small steps developpment. You only built the next step when the previous is fixed.

LM tried to developp all simultaneously, and the burden was so high that they used differents teams of computer programmers. Lack of coordination, late, you fix one problem another 2 appears on other parts of the software... It is the cruel reality.

Some say the F35 weapon system software is more than 5 millions ligns of code. At the end it may never be fully operationnal.

Last year(?) a J10A crashed in a village area and many pictures and a few videos were immediately posted online. Western, Indian, and Taiwanese posts laughed at the crash and concluded Chinese engines sucked, etc. It was later found the jet was on a Russian engine. That's the type of attentions ANY crash of the PLAF jet would get. On the contrary, US military crashes were mostly not reported because American military crafts operated in mostly remote areas in the country and in other parts of the world. These crashes were not reported because there was no witness. If the American government says there's no crash, no fire, no fetal matter overflown in planes, no deaths from accidents, you better believe it if you're not already programmed to believe everything the government says. Good luck or RIP if you don't.

This is why I doubt if any of you guys actually live or even been to the US. Anyone who has been living in the US long enough would recognize how much Americans respects veterans and the military. If an active duty military member die while on active duty, his/her family, hometown, city, and even state would know.
