J20 is China’s first attempt at 5th gen. I’m sure Chinese engineers have better designs in their minds from all that experience.

Yes they are Cheaper to buy and maintain than F-22, F-22's failure is not you're talking about but its production cancelation was political rather than technical because of budget cut and breakup of Soviet union
