You know as much as the rest which is not much. Fact is that we don't know the full details of payment. Maybe Pakistan might have to pay the full sum or maybe not. In Pakistan's case, it has a history of receiving military aid through coalition funds. We cannot rule out that this time will be a similar construction for this F-16 deal. Hell, who knows the payment arrangement is being concealed from the rest since there is already so much opposition from certain quarters.

Pakistan and the US have had so many deals in the past which have gone through the Pentagon and the payment details have not always been transparent. We all know what happens to US taxpayers money. It is spent on useless wars and the outcome is always zilch. Deal with it.

Are you stupid? Ever heard of numerical strength? For Pakistan the addition of these 8 F-16s to their already sizeable fleet of F-16s is actually a force multiplier. 8 might seem small in numbers, but when added to the existing fleet the number and meaning changes dramatically.

US Military aid is restricted to around $300 Million - rest is for USAID to utilize for developmental projects.

The second point is that Congress has the authority to restrict the $300 Million military aid and if it does so then in that case entire contract value has to paid for by Pakistanis and the $300 Million would be held in reserve for Pakistan until congress signs off.

So in short - $300 Million is your best short - but $300 Million is no chump change is it?
