The issue is based on the side telling their story. From western media none is democratic...Through their own media all are Democracy.

Senegal has practically no firepower, hence they could potentially be a test case for China to procure a foothold in West Africa. Senegal is also not happy with France for some time on the handling of their duel citizens in France.

JF-17 could provide the right development if they are able to procure adequate industrial benefits as the qualified workforce can be flown back from EU along with funds.

My prediction many a years ago was that the JF17 might hit the 1000 sales number.

Due to covid disaster---it might not happen---but the sales would be substantial---and wait for the BLK4---.

If Argentina is requesting transfer of technology (ToT) or an assembly line then 10+2 = 12 aircraft make little sense. They should at least commit to ~100 aircraft for the ToT to be a cost effective investment (~30 of which may be required to be built in China/CAC-Pakistan/PAC).

The 12 is likely an initial and immediate order. It's likely they're requesting a ToT and local assembly for a far larger order.

Hi,

Anyone with any military engineering background would want to get some level of TOT for their weapons systems.

Think about it this way---pak and india are at war---a critical parts assembly section is destroyed by an enemy bomb & now there is critical shortage of that part---but guess what---argentina has that assembly working at full capacity---
