Please come out of your fantasies...

indian Coastal Line is WAYYYYYY bigger than Pakistan's ...hence you see the disparity.... Nothing more , nothing less.

Pakistan can not have a large navy for 600 miles of Coast Line ......

Regarding your "sea faring" fairy tale ...

Pakistani Sailors = indian Sailors if not Pakistani Sailors > indian Sailors....

oh dear. not that 1 pakistni soldier = 10 indian soldiers crap. it was funny enough the 1st 100 times

Stop thinking with ur pea sized fanboy brain for a sec

Regarding your "sea faring" "fairy tale":

the Romans brought the warship building expertise to south india before christ was born, which they used to fight the europeans in the colonial age. some south indian kingdoms, like marathas and kerala's navy defeated the europeans in some occasions.

next time, please dont be biased against india to the point of mental retardation

Sorry to burst your Bubble ..

Pakistan has ample supply of Anti Ship missiles which can punch a hole size of cricket field in any ship
and thats costs only 2-5 Million dollars

So if need be we can execute the Èquilizer and bring Indian Navy down to its knees

The fast attack stealth boats we are getting will allow us to sneak in and knock out a ship if need be

Indian Navy while true has more assets , but Pakistan now possesses enough strategic weapons to even the odds , its not 70`s any more

And to be perfectly honest Indian Aircraft carriers are sitting ducks

lets just hope there is no more war between india n pakistan anymore

if anywhere both nations have to compete then it should be economic front

We have seen what wars have done to this region atleast for once lets see what peace could bring to this region

Anyways there is no point in comparing IN n PN capabilties i think this topic has already been discussed millions of time on this forum n this thread will also serve the same fate if we again start comparing them

Peace:smitten:

What a straw man argument! If missiles are all that is needed, why then does one need a navy at all? So let's scrap all navies around the world, dump all the Carrier Strike Groups, convert all subs into museums and go home happy! Why waste billions of dollars on something that can be taken out by a two-penny missile?

Dude it looks like you know squat about naval tactics and their organization whilst operating at sea. But at the expense of my valuable time, here's some gen that you ought to know so that you don't keep blabbering nonsense.

Typical CSG composition

CSGs are not restricted to a specific composition and can be modified depending on expected threats, roles, or missions expected during a deployment, and one may be different from another. A U.S. Navy carrier strike group typically includes:

> A supercarrier, which is the centerpiece of the strike group and also serves as the flagship for the CSG Commander.

> A carrier air wing (CVW) typically consisting of up to nine squadrons.

> One to two Aegis guided missile cruisers (CG), of the Ticonderoga class—a multi-mission surface combatant, equipped with BGM-109 Tomahawk missiles for long-range strike capability.

> A destroyer squadron (DESRON) with two to three guided missile destroyers (DDG), used primarily for anti-aircraft (AAW) and anti-submarine (ASW) warfare, but which also carries Tomahawk missiles for long-range strike capability. Two frigates are also part of this squadron.

> Two to three attack submarines, to screen the strike group against hostile surface ships and submarines, but which also carry Tomahawk missiles for long-range strike capability.

> A combined ammunition, oiler and supply ship (AOE/AOR).

And remember, the CSGs have more than enough anti missile defences. Even the much vaunted Chinese DF-31s are ineffective against moving targets. Though the Indian Navy is based on Carrier Battle Groups and cannot boast of the firepower of the CSGs, it is fast getting there.

And more importantly, get to know something about the 'anti-missile missiles' and active air defence systems including a plethora of state of the art radar and target acquisition systems on battle ships that can pick out your Harpoon and Exocet class missiles and blow them to smithereens much before they even identify their targets by their active/passive seekers!

So get out of your fantasy world and start facing reality. Deny ignorance!!

Cheers!

Nice write up but once the Missile makes a hole the destroyer , frigate and carrier all go down once water fills into the vessel lol

And it just costs 2-5 million /missile

Which we can shoot from Ships , planes , and ground multiple sources :P

And with Adavance awacs and other radars just makes it alot more easier

Keep me posted how the "Naval Carrier Group " fares after the nuclear induced tsunami wave topples the ships and washes all the Suk-hoi and helicopters off the carriers

Enlighten me

I have not even used the Chinese Anti Carrier Missiles yet .. and its Game Over

you still haven't answered his question.

if missiles are all thats needed, why are u spending billions of ur limited navy budget to buy ships?

Pakistan navy's expansion is very very slow.....may be due to $$$$.........:agree:

Good news is that indigenous nuke sub will come out along with Babur submarine cruise missile!! Hell on Earth for India and hell for Akash SAM too!!

I guess we shold concentrate on the long range anti ship missiles so that can counter any Navy in the world.......that would be the best solution for our Naval challenges in future..........:smokin:

Oh my God....another mentally retarded bharti ...

I never said 1 Pakistan = 10 indians whatever...

I said that Pakistanis sailors are as good as indian one's , if not better.... How come this translates into "1 Pak = 10 indis" ???

Come out of your inferiority-complex stricken minds....

Any neutral sources on the given information would be better ...or else it is just what it is ... a bharti fairy-tale...

Last time I checked, during pre-industrialized era , indian navy was no way near great navies such as European Navies like Dutch navy or Islamic Navies like Ottoman Navy etc ...

Also , please leave this stinky sh!t ....

1200 million indians are nothing special..specially against 180 million Pakistanis residing to their West.. indian Navy holds an advantage over Pakistan Navy ONLY AND ONLY because of massive size difference..and size difference is obvious because you have to defend 8X longer Coast than we do.

So

"sea faring"

Don't forget your seaborne Harrier are obselete they been recently upgraded but having highest accident rate. Induction of Mig 29 will take time.

thats what u meant anyway by "Pakistani Sailors > indian Sailors" its a myth i always love to burst ;)

i would love to search and find out the neutral sources. unfortunately ur opinion means nothing to me.
anyway, here is a wikipedia extract that verifies my comment WORD FOR WORD
During the 17th and 18th centuries, the Maratha and Kerala fleets were expanded, and became the most powerful Naval Forces in the subcontinent, defeating European Navies at various times
Indian Navy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

the rest u find out urself

and plz dont say "wikipedia bla bla... i am insecure and looking for excuses bl bla..."

:

dont give me the "coastline excuse".

The fact is pakistan's Lifeline comes from the sea, through karachi, making ur navy strategically ur most important arm.

however as long as the army is in control, ur navy will always be... well, what it is today

dont discard them yet
IN sea harriers carry BVR and still pack a mighty punch

regarding "highest accident rate." many morons here keep repeating like idiots. i keep telling them, what matters is ATTRITION RATE. or the no of accidents per sortie.

IAF and IN fly a LOT of sorties. so naturally their accidents are high

Pak Navy is getting lots of stuff from China for Navy. We all already know that.
