Europe and the PKK

German, foreign secret services aware of PKK activities in EU, PKK leader says

(There is a video as evidence in the link)

German and foreign intelligence services, as well as European politicians are aware of the activities of PKK terrorist organization in Europe and keep in touch with the terrorist organization, Abdul Rahman Haji Ahmadi, also known as Haji Ahmadi, the leader of PKK's Iranian offshoot PJAK told German TV channel Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) in 2007.

Haji Ahmadi, who has German citizenship and lives in Germany, told WDR that he keeps in touch with foreign secret services, including Germany's foreign intelligence agency the Bundesnachrichtendienst, in Cologne, Germany.

"It was a young man, he came and said that he is from the BND. And he asked what everyone else asks, and I have given the same answer I've given to you" Ahmedi said, and continued by saying that they know exactly who he is.

"I have been in Europe for more than 43 years, mostly in Germany and they also know who I am. They also know since when I have been the leader of PJAK/PKK."

In the interview, Ahmedi told WDR that his organization enjoys 'protection from the top' and that U.S. generals in Iraq did not oppose PJAK's activities, and even visited their camps.

"We are positive towards the Americans" he said, and continued by adding that he believes PJAK and PKK work for the benefit of the U.S., even though it recognizes PJAK as a terrorist organization.

He noted that American generals who visited PJAK camps respect the organization.

In response to a question about the 'success' of recruitment of new terrorists from Europe, Ahmedi said that many Kurdish youth, including girls join the group, while some prefer joining the PKK in Turkey.

Hans-Christian Ströbele, a member of the parliamentary committee that oversees German intelligence, criticized German institutions for gross negligence.

He told the WDR that German judicial authorities must launch investigation regarding the issue, as it involves indictable offences including the recruitment of militants for terrorist organizations, and establishing a terrorist organization.

PJAK which is a part of the armed terrorist group KCK (Group of Communities in Kurdistan), which includes terrorist groups functioning under the names of the PKK in Turkey, the PÇDK in Iraq, the PYD in Syria and PJAK in Iran.

Turkey has criticized Europe for turning a blind eye to the activities of the PKK terrorist group.

Despite Turkey's strong ties with the 28-member bloc in terms of economic relations, the EU's tolerance against terrorism and its criticism against Turkey regarding counterterror operations in its southeastern borders have heightened the tensions in the already strained diplomatic relations between the two sides.

The PKK terror group has been freely holding rallies across European capitals, with the authorization of EU officials, despite the PKK being listed as a terror organization by the bloc.

Even the wiki page of the PKK, has all the associated groups and organizations on it, there is no way that they can find an excuse around and for their open support, campaigning's and dropping of arms to these terrorists and affiliates; it would take simple googling to gather enough documentation on a couple UK newspapers to sue them in the UK under the Anti-Terrorism Act....

At last some good news

They're a bit late, but it shouldn't be too hard to build up a list from social media accounts, internet sites, etc.. I also think they should black / gray - list all foreign supporters, companies also, and not let these people or their cash near or in the country.

PKK supporters rally freely on the streets of Paris

Supporters of the PKK terror organization rallied in French capital Paris, holding banners of the terror group's jailed leader Abdullah Öcalan on Saturday.

The PKK supporters gathered to mark the death anniversary of Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Sönmez, three PKK members who were killed in a building in Paris in January 2013.

Organizers and attendants of the event also chanted slogans against France, demanding that the murder of the three PKK members be uncovered.

Another remembrance ceremony for the killed PKK members was held on Friday in Switzerland's Basel.

Formed in 1978, the PKK has been fighting the Turkish state for an independent Kurdistan since the 1980s. The group then shifted its goal to autonomy in the predominately Kurdish regions of Turkey.

The terrorist group resumed its 30-year-old armed insurgency against the Turkish state in July 2015.

Over 1,100 people, including 800 security personnel have been killed and 314 civilians have lost their lives in PKK attacks in Turkey since then, while over 4,000 security personnel and 2,000 civilians have been injured.

The terror group is also responsible for the recent terror attacks in Turkey's western Izmir and central Kayseri provinces.

The PKK's campaign - killing civilians in the name of freedom for Kurdish citizens in Turkey - is not a new one. It is responsible for roughly 7,000 civilian deaths since it was founded. The majority of these victims were Kurdish citizens of Turkey who were killed for supporting the Turkish government at a time when attacks were intensifying in the predominantly Kurdish cities in eastern and southeastern Turkey where the PKK struggled to garner support.

The PKK is recognized as a terrorist group by the U.S., EU and Turkey.

Despite being on the EU's official terrorist organizations list, the PKK's presence in Europe has been met with indifference in some European countries, resulting in an anomaly widely criticized by Ankara, who argues that the anti-terrorist rhetoric used by EU leaders directly contradicts the enabling of PKK activities in EU-member countries.
