We have some insight in Italy how your offices work. Some high tanking turks escaped to Italy. Turkey sends us a paper and writes that those must be send to Turkey because they are terrorists.

A European Commission (EC) spokesperson could only come up with a hushed reply at a press conference on Monday, after Daily Sabah asked for his comments on a European Union (EU) high-rank officials' meeting with members, suspects and convicts of the outlawed terrorist organization PKK.

The EU has faced some heavy criticism for its apparent lack of concern over the PKK's acts of terrorism in Turkey and the group's activities in Europe.

At the midday press conference of the EC on Monday, it said glorifying and justifying terrorism was a criminal act across Europe, and that the EC commissioners held talks with internet giants last week to tighten their fight against what it calls, "internet terrorism."

Present at the briefing, Daily Sabah queried, "We have recently witnessed France arresting people for browsing terrorism-linked contents. Following Saturday's terrorist attack in Istanbul, there were dozens, or probably hundreds, of PKK supporters in Europe celebrating and glorifying the attack. Are we finally going to see Europe taking action against these people who celebrate a terrorist attack in an [EU] candidate country?"

In its second question, Daily Sabah reminded the EC spokesperson that EC's Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn had met with some pro-PKK figures including: Faysal Sarıyıldız, who is accused of supplying weapons to the PKK, Tuba Hezer, who once shouldered the coffin of a PKK terrorist, and Eyüp Doru, a name with a red notice, who has been on active duty at the PKK's Qandil headquarters for five years.

"Is this the new approach towards enlargement of the EU or we are going to see steps against these terror-linked people, and is the EU going to adopt a new concept of enlargement?" Daily Sabah asked.

Replying to the daily, the spokesperson could only come up with a plain answer saying, "The line of the Commission is crystal clear with regards to the PKK."

Furthermore, when an Anadolu Agency reporter asked as to why the EU released a condemnation statement almost 15 hours after Saturday's attack, the question was not answered.

Recently, a group of PKK proponents organized a demonstration in front of the European Parliament with placards and flags to protest the detainment of several Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) deputies.

The European Parliament (EP) is one of the leading institutions where the PKK terrorist organization can easily spread its propaganda.

At a conference held at the EP, some PKK terrorists with red notices were in attendance, revealing once again, with whom the EP, which lately requested freezing Turkey's accession talks, has sided with.

Also endorsed by the Socialists and Democrats of the EP, the conference was held at the European Parliament on Dec. 7 and 8, in cooperation with the PKK-linked Kurdish Institute of Brussels.

At the conference, Zübeyir Aydar, a high-ranking PKK figure with a red notice against his name, gave a speech, while Salih Muslim, the leader of the PKK's Syrian wing, the Democratic Union Party (PYD), also took the floor.

I think, it is obvious that MIT should start to work.... silently take out PKK figure heads with their European supporters in EU.

The assets for such missions (assassination/sabotage) are already being setup. It was on Al Monitor that the MIT will be expanded and one of the new divisions is Special Operations. My guess is they will have the boys from this new unit hone their skills by putting down PKK/YPG leaders in Iraq and Syria before the focus is put on Europe (which, when looking at the big picture, seems inevitable). P.s.: I feel sorry for the victims of evry terror attack. But find it amusing that turkey believes ist priority number one in europe. You are not.

Italy for example did not even voice a statement regarding the last attacks.

A Czech member of the European Parliament (EP), Tomas Zdechovsky, has said the acts of PKK, listed as a terrorist organization by the EU should be banned from the EP.

"29 dead in Istanbul. No more tolerance for terrorists stop #PKK #isis and ban them from the EP," Zdechovsky said in his Twitter account.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Zdechovsky said, in regards to his tweet welcomed by Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Turkish social media users, that he was very angry when he saw the terrorist attack in Istanbul and felt the need to make such a statement.

Zdechovsky emphasized, "there is no difference between Istanbul and Paris, Brussels attacks targeting civilians."

"Terrorism never succeeds, terrorists never win," he said.

Zdechovsky said that the Kurds must seek rights through political means and that they would never reach a solution using weapons against the Turkish government.

Regarding his tweet, Zdechovsky said, "I made the call to ban PKK because PKK is still on the EU's list of terrorist organizations. Nobody removed it from that list."

Zdechovsky stated that he is a Catholic Christian and continued: "Those who lost their lives in Istanbul are Muslims, but we are all the same."

"Religion is not important. We will never support terrorism."

Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu hailed Zdechovsky's tweet.

"Thank you Tomas, this is exactly what we want to see from the EU institutions and its member states," Cavusoglu said in his Twitter account.

In contrast with Zdechovsky's statement, the president of the European Parliament posted a comment on social media without using the word "terror".

"My thoughts & solidarity with Turkish citizens, with families of victims of Istanbul attacks. I wish speedy and full recovery to the injured,” Martin Schulz said.

Kati Piri, the rapporteur for Turkey at the European Parliament, made no official statement. Instead, she wrote a message on her Twitter account.

"Terrible news from #Istanbul - my thoughts are with the Turkish people on this awful night."

At around 10.30 p.m. (19.30GMT) on Saturday evening, two explosions rocked Istanbul's European side.

Outside a football stadium in Istanbul's Besiktas district, a car bomb was detonated two hours after the end of a Turkish football league match between Besiktas and Bursaspor.

Seconds later, a suicide bomb attack occurred in Macka Park in the same neighborhood. The suicide bomber blew himself up after police noticed him, according to Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu.

"A total of 13 suspects have been arrested so far," he said. "Signs point to the involvement of the PKK terrorist group."

Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus also said Sunday that the PKK terror group was "most likely" to have been involved in Saturday's deadly terror attack.

The Turkish Prime Ministry said in a statement, a day of national mourning has been declared on Sunday. The national flags will be flown at half-mast across Turkey and at foreign delegations, it added.

A very violent group. One of the theories here in Sweden with regards to Olof Palme's murder is that the PKK was behind it. Apparently 2 former members of the PKK decided to back off from the group, and moved to Sweden. The PKK tracked them down and murdered them, leading the Swedish government to recognize the group as a terrorist organisation. Shortly afterwards the Swedish pm was murdered. This is just a theory though, but Kurdish terrorist groups certainly have a presence here.

Why do you say "you"? I was never in Brussels in my entire life.

That said, the problem is this isn´t a PKK tent. Its an independend group. When police approaches them they can only demand that this flag is removed. Evrything else must be decided by a court.

I would also like to add that most here dont know what PKK is. I learned about them in this forum.
