Escort services thrive on social media

.
There are many UGLY Bangladeshis on PDF.

The social values in BD has changed over last 10 years drastically, and bred many UGLY Bangladeshis.

UGLY ≠ How you look.

.
Prostitution is legal in BD...monitor these sites and tax them...there is no reason why this should be even a concern for the police unless girls are being forced to do anything.

I don't know about West specifically, but globally it does seem they ('unaffiliated' - non-religious, atheist?) won't grow that much compared to others:

This is based on birthrate...except most atheists I know weren't born in atheist families...they became atheists by themselves...you cannot predict the growth of that.

you cannot predict the growth of that.

You can model that. Growth of Atheism relies on * birth rate * rate of conversion to Atheism * rate of conversion from it to religions. The only thing you cannot predict is all these rates at a future date - the assumption is current trend continues.

Hilarious. Pretty sure that number is either negligible at best or virtually non existent.

Hope, BD can have it's red light district of South Asia. By that I mean legal and adults, not the ones that are available in many places in our country where girls even underage are exploited. Government should regulate this market and set procedures and requirements like condoms and taxes on them. One good way is to take it online and legalise it in authorised websites to have easier monitoring and regulatory system.

Brothel evictions last year sparked angry protests

The Bangladeshi High Court has ruled that prostitution as a livelihood is not illegal.

Lawyers say the judgement is highly unusual because it makes Bangladesh one of the few Islamic countries which do not ban prostitution.

This judgement means that prostitutes in Bangladesh now have the legal authority to practise their trade.

The judges made their comments as the court was ruling in a case brought by over 100 sex workers who have been in homes for vagrants since July last year, when two brothels on the outskirts of Dhaka were closed down by the authorities.

The police action was highly controversial and was much criticised by human rights groups.

One of these brothels, Tan Bazar, was widely regarded as the oldest and largest in the country.

'Illegal' action

The two judges hearing the case of the sex workers said that the government had acted illegally in closing down the brothels.

They condemned the action of the police in evicting the sex workers, accusing them of acting solely on behalf of the landlords who owned the land where the brothels were located.

Commentators say that while many Bangladeshis frown upon prostitution, the practise is nevertheless allowed if prostitutes have a licence.

This is only given to them if they can convince the authorities that they have no other means of earning an income.

Some lawyers says that the court ruling may be challenged, because the Bangladeshi constitution says that gambling and prostitution should not be encouraged.

Aids fear

Bangladesh has a large sex industry and a UN survey says hundreds of thousands of Bangladeshis visit sex workers every day.

UN officials fear the country may face a massive increase in the number of Aids cases, which are still fairly low when compared with neighbouring India and Thailand.

The BBC's David Chazan in Dhaka says many health officials have welcomed the ruling, saying it could help them in their efforts to contain the spread of HIV.

Outlawing prostitution, the officials say, only makes it more difficult to distribute condoms to sex workers. \\

Holy SH*T. I am loving our high court. It ruled few days ago that google facebook and other foreign services have to pay tax and now this. Amazing.

Other than the fact that an adult should decide for themselves, can anyone here disagree with this particular decision? Or anyone thinks even though they are struggling to be alive, they should not be allowed to do it because you have personal objection to how they want to go by their own life?

Absolutely agree. They are already struggling to survive before they choose this profession. We shouldn't make their life harder. Regulate this industry instead of your feel good family values.

Hypocrisy is already everywhere. Just look at world. There's also fine chance of WW3 in next 50 years.
Science and technology already gave humanity almost everything. What's next? Are we going to colonize the milky way galaxy or whole fking universe?

I think we humans are almost pinnacle of our achievement. There's a limit to everything. We'll fall hard once we hit the limit level.
The only spark I see in starting off WW3 is when the next fifty years of a new wonder weapon is guaranteed... WW1 has tanks, bombs... WW2 had nukes... WW3 some anti matter weapon!? Anti matter is super hard to create and expensive... so not until someone finds out a way to reduce the cost
