Erdogan wants new start in the relation between Germany and Turkey

At Thursday President Erdogan starts his visit in Germany.

He meet twice Chancelor Merkel and once President Steinmeier.

In a interview he claimed the most important points of his visit.

The most important is a restart of a relation between Turkey and Germany and leaving the time of insulting behind. He wish a normal friendly relation.
The second point is better economic Cooperation.
Third point restart talks a bout Turkey EU membership.
Fourth point fight against terrorism.

At the end of his visit he wants to open a new Ditib mosque in Cologne.

A strong ice cold wind blows in his face.... he will first hand face the consequents of his two year long insutling every german politican.

During the big Staatsbankett (state banquet) he will face many empty chairs... many german politicans already has said they dont want to sit on the same table as Erdogan. The Linke, AfD and FDP dont show up with a single representant. The turkish born former chief of the green party Cem Özdemir took part on the state banquet.... he said Erdogan has to face me the whole night... Özdemir is on of the biggest critics of Erdogan in Germany and was target for endless insults from turkish politicans.

Erdogan whished to open the mosque in Cologne with officel representants but no German politican is willing to join the opening cermonie...

Erdogan holds no speach and confirmed that he only adress a short greeting during the open cermonie of the Dibit mosque...

Dibit is very close to the point to get under observation of the german BND.

All in all Erdogan will face a cold visit were he has to pay a high price to get a newstart. That happen if you piss at everyone´s leg and suddenly you realize you need help badly from exactly the same persons you have insuted for years...

You should know something about politicians, they dont act on ethical reasons but populist ones, Merkel would recieve a huge shitstorm if she would go since there is a very big anti Erdogan climate in Germany, not because she values domecracy in Turkey or something.

About all the fuss, the only reason for Erdogan to push so far was the referandum he imadiately stopped after it was done as i predicted, Germany and Netherland played a lot in his hand with their actions too, the referrandum finished with 51% in his favor god knows what would happen if Erdogan couldnt turn the table by presenting Germany and NL as ''outside enemies''.
So in a way those two countries caused the exact opposite of what they claimed they wanted to do.

Merkel also did not attend the banquet given for the Queen of England. There is no need for her representation since the 2 presidents will be at the table. Ozdemirus is an unwanted addition, but I guess every feast must have its rats lurking near the end of the table
