I completely disagree.

Fate of the Muslim world and that of Pakistan are intertwined in all spheres of the argument.

Is this a sarcastic comment? Pakistan is only useful for the Muslim world as it has nukes and professional armed forces. Beyond that, it has nothing to offer.

Pakistan hosts the most ambitious youthful population in the Muslim world. A Pakistani has a better narrative of life as a Muslim in modern times in a nation state than any other muslim dominant country.

The diverse ethnic nation also presents one of the last refuge of inclusive living in the post modern Muslim world.

It simply does not have a good salesman and honestly i do not mind it but circumstance may compel Pakistan sooner rather than later to take the central stage in the Muslim world.

Be it academics, social justice or question of industrialisation

Indian Muslims and Pakistani SHOULD go hand in hand but they CANT. And they DONT. Thé first thing they always say to me is that previously it was one country. Fck man. Just accept it and move.on but they really don't try to be friends and act coldly.( apart from one guy who has global mindset). Non muslms Indians behave better. But they almost faint when I tell them where I am from lol

So.if.two countries can't get along in the bloc , it will introduce unnecessary friction

But it would be really.good.to see Pakistan and.india cooperating. We should and must include Bangladesh. And should create a better version of EU.
But if only Muslims can get over nationalis

Sensible post...The possibility of India and Pakistan people reconciling with each other has greater possibility than Muslims nations uniting with each other. Forget Muslims, religion based unity never works in real world...It is utopian dream sold by powerful entities to exploit less powerful ones....Cultural simillarity can sometime be a bridge but religion will never work ouT.

I am from Dallas.India is in the mode of disruption.We are just pretending to solve few issues that was being debated for 72 years...
But i am hoping things will settle down in few years..

I am quite optimistic about people of Pakistan and India...Kashmir will be sorted out in a year or 2.Either India will loose Kashmir valley or take control of the situation completely.
After Kashmir issue is settled, economy and population of our country will force our respective govt to maintain peaceful environment to focous on economy

Shameful Pakistan government did not attend this summit. If Turkey didn't back our Kashmir stance we all would be complaining but since Pakistan let others down we have many excuses. How can we expect any respect from other nations when we can't even make own decisions. Yes Saudi will give money but we have a general as the leader of Saudi so called Islamic army. We gave gurantees to Saudis to defend them if any attacks against them. I thought pti and Imran Khan would bring a independent policy. Am disappointed
