You can correct me if you want or any Israeli user, but as far as I can recall you acquired them far later. The Israelis offered you protection and even tried selling you Arrow missiles, which in the end failed because the USA did not approve (the approval was needed because the project was US-funded). Instead you then later acquired Patriot batteries.

We have built Turkey from nothing. There's no Alavi-Sunni fight in our history, not during a wartime so don't bother making a comparison.

I don't need to brag about Turkish Armed Forces, people in this forum knows all about our hardware. What most people don't know is why we still have conscription and why it's so important for every Turk to get military training.

It begun with small organizations then under the leadership of Atatürk we've formed a disciplined army. It took us three years to get everything back, Iraqis turned against each other in weeks. Actually, Egypt manufactures tanks by 90% of it's parts:

Armored vehicles, artillery, multiple rocket launchers, training jets, ballistic missiles, small arms, anti air defense systems, cars, home appliances, buses, trucks...etc.

It's not fair to whine over Egypt after what happened, it's economy face hardships and this is normal after the political change, it needs time to recover, and will be stronger than before.
