What's new

Enough is enough

If you have no son, will your lineage continue through your daughter?

That's is another thing, they all still say they are progeny of Prophet SAW.
When you put the argument that why not with other daughters of Prophet SAW.
Their answer is that it could only through Fatima RA, because she was married to H Ali Ra. And he was a cousin of Prophet SAW.
Therefore, in the end it ends up on Ali Ra.

No wonder, there are people who gives Ali Ra superlatives, he wouldn't have agreed on.
It is very ridiculous.

.
There is none, you do carry traits from your ancestors. But this syed thing, in terms of lineage can't work genetically. Since prophet P.B.U.H didn't had male descendants. However, can have linkage to Hazrat Ali, R.A. And it's a great nisbat to have as well. Or so to other sahaba as well.
it does work in all cultures where tribal traits exist. it's just not true.
religion, folklore and culture are 3 different things.

It is, depends on how do you want to look at it. Or to prove nisbat, in relative terms or absolute. Even as cultural, tribal or any other still counts as a nisbat and can be something to be proud of. But of course, it can't be genetically possible as i said before in previous post; unless since Hazrat Ali R.A was cousin of Prophet P.B.U.H, and there is a possibility that their family tree merge somewhere and technically then it's interlinked. And lineage from that route is possible but still not as direct descendant.

Maryam is referred in a feminine tone hence Female would be the box to tick.

There is no ancestry without the male.
So hadeeth regarding Mahdi of prophets lineage is false according to you. Secondly quran quotes issa ibne maryam. Either you have to accept female lineage or accept maryam as a male. Since you accept maryam as a female so female lineage must be accepted according to you. Otherwise your opinion is purely biased and conflict in nature. I hope you understand.

Do you know one sect believes that prophet had only 1 daughter?

too much nationalism, kharoshti has been dead for good 1700 years, the sccript predominent before arabic script was devnagri, presently used in northern india, what about gurmukhi script of the sikh punjabis, or the sindhi hindu script preserved in india?

I just personally take a liking to it and think it should be used for Urdu, that's all. Feel free to disagree, I'm far from dogmatic on this position.

Bangladesh should have never been a part of Pakistan.
Bengalis were the most prominent people that started the cause of pakistan. Nawabs of UP. Bhopal bengal and hyderabad were the pioneers of pakistan. Remaining ones were just late joiners.

Nisbat is the Kalima to the Prophet.

Appropriately to the title of the thread. It is enough!!

That is rather an extreme disposition. Maryam's gender is not the miracle but the virgin birth is the miracle.

I neither have to accept or deny it. It is not an article of faith of Islam.

I didn't talked about the miracle neither questioning your faith as I am no one to judge. I just outlines the conflict of understanding.

I know the views i expressed are not mainstream by any stretch of imagination.

But i would however ask, if you do not want to judge yourself then why let others(readers) judge?

And hence , we look to Arabs who brought Islam here

If you look up to sand people, that's your prerogative but don't enforce it upon us.

And btw, they didn't bring Islam here, they brought the barbarity that they carried from the backwaters of Arabia. People like Fariduddin Ganjshakar, Ahmad Sirhindi, Abu Raja As Sindhi, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh (all of which were native to the Indus) made Islam popular.

Else we all be drinking GAO mutr

Imagine thinking that Hinduism (specifically, the sects that venerate cows) is the only religion our ancestors followed. Jathera, Sikhism, Buddhism Zoroastrianism, even Manichaeism were all present in the Indus.

Also ,we would be In that stupid caste system which Islam has eliminated.

By "looking to Arabs" (your words not mine), you're maintaining it.

Bengalis were the most prominent people that started the cause of pakistan.

Jinnah was not Bengali. Iqbal was not Bengali. Rehmat Ali was not Bengali.
