What's new

Enough is enough

What we need to do is encourage Sindhi's to celebrate being Sindhi, Baloch celebrate being Baloch, Punjabi celebrate being Punjabi, Pakhtun celebrate being Pakhtuns and extend that to the minoirity areas like Chitralis, Kalash, Gilgit-Baltistani's etc. All celebrating in common fold called Pakistan. What a great collage that makes. Unique to the Indus.

And is that collage unique? Yes it is. Whilst some of the colours might be found in Iran, Afghanistan, India but non of the mix we have. Each of them of them have their own unique mix of colours.

I am more interested in the history of the groups that constitute current of Pakistan , i believe our history includes the history of all the groups that make up Pakistan and not just the muslim invaders belonging to far off lands. I am quite frankly very proud of our cultures, dresses, instruments etc. For far too long our own history is being taught as the history of a country that is purely artificial.

I am proud of Pakistan and the many diversities it offers, be they geographical or ethnical. When i see a group of Pakistanis of different shades and backgrounds, it's honestly a beautiful feeling to have such unity regardless of color etc. This is why i think our media should raise more awareness regarding everyone's cultures, we need to first and foremost learn about the people of Pakistan.

I am very tired of some members trying to equate that Pakistanis = Arabs,Turks,Persians etc when in reality we're mainly a mixture of North Western Indics and North/South Eastern Iranic groups. These groups themselves have many fascinating divisions such as Dards , Makranis , Seraikis , Kalash and so on and I am very proud of them all. Indeed enough is enough. Stop this embarrassing behavior.

Only those who are reading and replying at this thread are wasting time on this discussion. No one in real life cares about these useless topics

I think, you once asked me that why I frequently use this Punjabi idiom "Mootar wichon machhian taulna". Read this thread.:lol::lol:

What you're saying is basically that the Mughal Empire is a part of the Indian history even though it was ruled by Muslims.

In this case I don't understand why many Pakistani are claiming that India unlike Pakistan is an artificial nation? If the Mughals are part of Hindustans narrative it is Pakistan that is created artificially.

.
Biggest mistake of Pakistani nationhood was not to choose the national language from one of the Big Fours (Pashto,Punjabi,Baloch,Sindhi)

Bravo. I agree. What a fantastic mix we have. Each is a story. Together we are a saga. The Indus Saga !

Fantastic stuff here.

Thank you for this....Absolutely Fantastic!!!

Allama Iqbal didn't do poetry in baloch, sindhi, punjabi and pashto, he did it in urdu and persian. Similarly mughal empire used persian as lingua franca like the dehli sultanate before them, they were not persians but turk speaking elite, similarly, sanskrit was inposed in dravidian speaking areas of south india, again, a non local language, latin has been used through out as literary language in the west, today many people speak english despite not being a native english speaker.

Mughal history is trans-national. It covered many regions and territories. Thus it's history will part of many histories. The history of Roman Empire or Byzantine Empire impacted huge areas. Even in Britain Roman history is studied because it impacted the history of these isles. The other thing to note with Mughal Empire is that it spread from what is now Pakistan into what is India now. Not the other way round.

Glad that Prime Minister Imran Khan back in 1990 wrote a book "Indus Journey".

95% of lay people in most countries never take any interest in anything other than their daily existence. You think all of Pakistan talks about Al-Khalid tanks, latest radar for PAF, type of helicopter for the Pak Navy?

Is a title just like Sri in India
I was answering to you claiming that virgin birth , you neither accepted or denied it , because it is not an article of faith. I said Quran is above it, deal with it.

Oh my IK ridden friend. Please reread what i wrote

Confusing times and botched payments are leading internet troll proxies to fight each other.

Well, wrong on all counts my friend. I am a proud "Pushtoon" descend, Never believed on supposed "Syed" superiority, that's why I say this the same shit coming from "Hindutva" in Sub-Continent. My Children are half Arabs.
So I know a thing or two how the real "Quesh" deals with the issue.
As much as the authentic Arab lineage is concerned, two prominent families are recognised as closely related to Prophet SAW. King of Jordan and King of Morocco. I think Ex King of Iraq was also a "Hashmi". But like I previously wrote, mathematically the numbers are impossible.
Most people in India calling themselves "Syed" are not right. That out of the way.

I was answering to you claiming that virgin birth , you neither accepted or denied it , because it is not an article of faith. I said Quran is above it, deal with it.

3:45 [And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah ].

3:46 He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous."

3:47 She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah ; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is.

I as a Muslim believe in virgin birth. You should deal with it , whichever way you think you want to.
For my Allah's Decree "Kun" is enough for me.
Can you elaborate this ayat in attached file

Those sand people weremore advanced in technology, science , philosophy than us "Indus people ".

Is this a joke? Gandhara alone is worth more than the past 1,000 years of Arab academic output. Most of their achievements weren't even done by them, they just leeched off of Persians, Greeks and ofc our land too.

There was nothing "Arab" about the Arab golden age.

I don't know what you are looking for in this Ayah. Please brother, don't take this matter lightly if Quran is involved in the discussion. If from this Ayah you are trying to prove somehow that Maryam didn't give a "Virgin" birth, then you are going against the Decrees of Allah SWT in the Holy Quran. Please remember there are absolutely no contradictions in the Holy Quran. If the earlier verses I quoted clearly that Maryam in fact did give virgin birth, then this verse simply cannot contradict it. It is just not possible under any circumstances.
So without elaboration from you what point you want to raise, it is difficult for me to answer.

What I have understood , you are probably trying to prove somehow this verse is pointing to something else. It is not.
I hope you are not referring to something else, which I am inclined to think you are.

The word used for the coming generation of Mariam Ra is "Zuriatha", which is correct. Prophet Isa As in fact is her son, thus her "Zuriat". It doesn't take you anywhere, I am afraid.

The ayat says when maryam born, her mother thinks its a girl but then she said allah knows best what is it so It can be boy also because Allah says next a male cannot be like a female. So this ayat clearly depicting that it's very difficult to recognize either its a boy or a girl. Here is the magic.

That's what I thought you were referring to.
The reason why she said that because she was expecting a boy. She was little disheartened from baby girl.
And please don't take it to anywhere else. I know exactly what you are trying.
The fact remains that Mary later did give birth to Isa As, that much everyone agrees on. She had to be a woman to give birth to Isa As.
The other issue of Virgin Birth is clear from the verse I posted earlier. This verse doesn't help you a bit.

Didn’t you claim that Pakistan which is a south Asian is a successor of persianizied mongol dynasty?!
