Emulate Kejriwal, says Pakistani daily

Something unheard of in Indian politics. He couldnt fullfill his promise and hence resigned. Selfless-ness, standing up for ideals of anti-corruption and social upliftment. Hats off to a ideal leader.
No scum in BJP and Congress would let go of this opportunity to make millions in 5 years. BJP filth were screaming that he was a power hungry maniac. Now it is clear who is the asss and who is the statesman. BJP would do anything to come to power! The only thing more disgusting than the Congress is the BJP, and the only thing more disgusting than the BJP itself are its brainless sheep supporters!

.
Or perhaps Kejerwal is emulating Imran Khan.. non stop dharnas(protests) with very little being done.

It has to be contextual. He resigned because he could not fulfil one promise, which no one else is going to support. He didn't even struggled a bit, ran away at the first sign of trouble. No one had expected him to be perfect, but no one thought of him as being such a coward. What did he expect - politics is a cakewalk? That he can achieve all his promises as soon as he gets the seat?
He wasn't chosen to drive people into another election - they don't come for free. Hell, an election in Delhi might be as big as its yearly budget. There were dozen other things he was supposed to do - like getting all the culprits of CWG behind bars and so on.

A leader is supposed to give nation stability, confidence. Not like him, who would ran at the drop of a hat with tail between legs. All he did was do protest against his own govt. Why protest against his own police? As an CM doesn't he have any authority over them? What kind of stupidity was that? Ideal leader my *ss. He might be a good opposition, but as a CM, a total failure. It is not a game, that he would play only by his own rule.

I largely agree ..but just a clarification ...He did not protest against his won police ....He has no control over Delhi Police ...It's under Union Home ministry ... Delhi police was acting at behest of Union home ministry ...
Going after sitting minister ....that too on flimsy reasons was provocative ...I guess Kejriwal had no choice besides protesting against Delhi police for they were working against AAP government ...

I have posted that question on his chat space in rediff already...let see if he answers back to me :ashamed:

My question for Kejriwal today : Do you consider whether act of bribing voters amounts to corruption or not ?

More or less same as yours but lil bit different perspective .

Our cousins across the border are more retarded than us.:D

Lil arpiii ...being very animus to AAP ???
:D

Just worried about my NATION.

As I said, AAP is just a party formed to SPLIT the anti-Congress votes resulting in the formation of an Unstable Govt. at Center & I hope that you don't want a Govt. whose days will only be numbered & would be afraid of taking any decision.

We haven't seen anything of them, they just ACCUSE & than runs away, they just take unconstitutional steps, dharnas, Anarchy is not what my nation needs.

I am ready to vote CPI(M) when given a choice between the two, as it is said - KNOWN DEVIL IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN UNKNOWN DEVIL.

Arpiii

I am impressed!!
You hold some strong views.

Yes AAP will eat up the anti-congress votes. So whats the solution???
BJP has to rise to everybody's expectations. The anti-congress votes will guise into BJP votes.

.
AAP sounds like rawgabbit at times but I still believe that only they could have gone against an Ambani.Even the BJP supporters here would not take umbrage to if I say Modi will never dare it.I am not even talking about congress run by Ambanis.
Yes AAP has got the Indian politicians to pull up their socks.

I completely agree with the corruption issues Kejriwal is raising (who wouldn't), but I disagree with the solutions they are providing, in fact they are not giving any solution. My problem with Kejriwal and his core team is that I can't TRUST them, I can't trust their intentions, in fact I doubt their willingness to provide any real solution to our problems other than creating a hype to fulfill their political aspirations.

Other than creating a lot of noise what they have done so far? They came to power in Delhi saying that the existing Govt. is corrupt and they have 370 pages of proof against Sheila Dixit, Kejriwal even showed a bunch of papers in a public rally, now where are those papers? Now they are saying they don't have any proof and BJP should submit proof against Sheila Dixit if they have any!! And still people of Delhi is ready to be fooled by them again?

They are peddling lots of lies and false propaganda, Levina AAP is not the only one or first one to go against Mukesh Ambani, Gurudas Dasgupta of CPM has already done that long back, and a legal battle is being fought against Reliance in Supreme Court in this particular issue without showing any heroism or creating any drama about it. Now, AAP has lodged a fresh FIR with lots of chest beating and they left Govt. withing a week, what do you think the value of this FIR now? There is no point of a fresh case on the same issue, court won't take it, will it add any value to the existing case other than improving AAP's election prospects?

Remember, since its creation AAP has never pursued any case to its conclusion, nobody was punished because of their action.

Now, coming to the Janlokpal case, do you really think they were serious about bringing Janlokpal? As per the existing rules they were supposed to take prior approval from the Lt.Governor, why didn't they do it? Lt.Governor would refer it to President of India Pranab Mukherjee for approval, did he said he would reject it? Both Congress & BJP said they will support the bill once it gets prior approval from Lt.Givernor as per the procedure, so get the approval and then see if Congress & BJP reject the bill!! But no, AAP wanted to create a mess about it to misled people. Compare to that, Uttarakhand is bringing a janlokpal without any fuss, which is said to be the exact replica of Delhi Janlokpal.

Now many would question the legality of prior approval of Lt. Governor, just like the way AAP is doing, then tell me if they are so much against taking prior approval from Lt. Governor, then why did they take prior approval of Lt. Governor before passing the Money Bill? Why this differential treatment? I would like to ask this question to all AAP supporters; @sandy_3126 @rubyjackass @Coltsfan @Guynextdoor2 @Prometheus Why AAP took prior approval of Lt. Governor for the Money Bill but not for the Janlokpal? @Indo-guy You may ask this question to Kejriwal. @scorpionx What is your opinion about AAP?

Believe me, they never wanted to pass the Janlokpal Bill, they just wanted to create this mess for their own political gain, if they wanted, they could have passed the bill in maximum 2 weeks after getting the prior approval of Lt. Governor. I hope majority of Delhi people will see through their lies & false propaganda.

Disclaimer: I am a floating voter without any particular political preference, I vote according to the available options. right now I am in favour of BJP at the center because I think they are the best among available options at present, I am not a fan of Modi, in fact I favour Arun Jaitley more, but agreeable to Modi since BJP has chosen him, he is still better than other PM candidates, and unfortunately I don't get paid by BJP for expressing my opinion!! :-) I would be the happiest if I am proven wrong about AAP, but so far they have done nothing concrete to show that they are for real.

You are one person whose political views I respect as you always give a very unbiased opinion.I am so influenced by your posts that 2 months back I was pro AAP and anti BJP but today I am pro BJP and anti-AAP.(save the 20% :) )

@levina i made an argument about 1 year back on PDF (when AAP was in it's nascent stages), i will make this again for you & others.

If you remember Raj Thakerey's MNS when came into being around 2008, was doing everything what one can call "Against The Law" (beating North Indians, declaring sort of war against them, etc.) but the Congress' State Govt. wasn't doing anything. Why? B'coz they were doing the best service to Congress & in 2009 came the proof............................

19slide5.gif

MNS, which itself din't win any seat, made the BJP-SS alliance LOSE on 9 LS seats by splitting the anti-congress votes.

MNS was a STATE LEVEL EXPERIMENT, AAP is a NATIONAL ONE.

P.S. Blindly following someone (because they are saying just those things which you wanna hear) is a form of SLAVERY.

Interesting!!!!

But did I not make it clear to you that I am no AAP sympathizer. AAP itself might not be doing anything but its image and the ideology (that it presumably sticks to) has created a stir.

@DRAY

My view on AAP? Do I need to say more when he acknowledged himself as a political anarchist? He had very little respect for the democratic governance when he was a front-runner of the Hazare movement and it was very obvious then that his stay in the power won't last long with such inaccurate estimation of Indian democracy. He successfully exploited the grievances of the urban class of the capital but failed to realize the ways of maintaining a sustained government and continued to folly one after another. And personally I think they have kicked the axe themselves as a large section of the discontent youths have lost faith in them.
