Drone downed by missle is normal， no matter whichever coutries the drone is from
The purpose of UAVs replacing manned aerial vehicles (MAVs) is to provide a new weapon that can perform missions at low cost and avoid casualties.
Only good UAVs will be widely used, and applicationed one will be destroyed or captured.
Undestroyed or Uncaptured UAVs can only indicate it is not good enough to be widely deployed

the people don't need their eyes to detect drones, they can just use electro-optical systems that are hard to detect even if you have complete air dominance , by the way Yemen have lots of R-27 and R73 missile that are infrared missile which easily can be modified for ground launch and can easily attack targets 7-10 km away if launched from ground . and do far better job than man-pads in such cases
the range means shit , the air-defence can be put actually several km in front of the target , its a tactic used since the air-crafts had to dive to bomb the target . and its no matter which country is origin of the drone such class of drones can't survive an attack from infrared homing missiles that are designed to engage far far more agile fighter jets .If the ch4 had a flir like the Aselflir300 wouldn't be shot down, look the range of 28km and still sharp. by the way according to this the range of ASELFLIR-300T is 20km not 28km by the way you are using MAM-L as ANKA weapon which if I'm not wrong have a range of 8km so yes technically you can stay 28km away but that's only good for limited information gathering , you can't engage anything , the E/O system can engage at 20km and your weapon at 8km.

Indeed, the drone is just a drone which is open to missile threats like other aerial vehicles. No matter where they are produced if it is just a basic and cheaper configuration which lacks sensors providing long range detection even in bad weather conditions as well. The altitude performance, power to weight ratio and operational ceiling at full MTOW capability of drones is also an important factor to prevent such a missile attack. Integrating 8-10 missile under the wings may serve good for marketing on defence fairs but Results ? A good question... To perform high altitude operrations, the optic generation became vital as well. If you lack behind on those technologies and sell systems with a decreased cost to markets considering “low cost”/“being cheaper” factor as an advantage, then your MALE drone might be easily hunted by even MANPADS as well;
In this aspect, Many counter-arguments can be produced against what I have claimed but I believe the threads like those are good for exposing How delusional, brainwashed, biassed those Chinese “expert” trolls are which totally aims to attack on people talking a little adverse to their supremacy/superiority dreams. Those guys can not add anything valuable to those threads since they can not even discuss such a simple matter with a simple logic but just trolling. What they can talk is just a packaged/composed statements which serves to be a good fanboy in their own World so credibility of their statements at any subject of defence technologies are below zero so No matter How many times they talk about How superior their products are in brochures...etc the truth is in the performance of them on field.

First of all, we need to congratulate Iran. It has done a good job not only in logistics flow but also in the training of qualified personnel.
China CH-4 system is a very important UAV program, they will make the necessary corrections as avionics, but they do not have the chance to give spesific tactical training for every condition to the recipient countries on the systems they sell. From other side , Here ECM systems and autonomous capabilities on the uav are gaining importance. But real issue is the false of tactical use.
Our friends, who work disinformation and PR on every side of the forum, now have started to see rest of forum as a fool. OFC except some very valuable Chinese members, When they experience the slightest negativity, they try to portray others attitudes as their own approach. Now everybody on PDF knows well very well. If this plane has fallen, it is definitely cheap US crap. thread closed.

You don´t now what you are talking about, a insurgent like the houthies don´t have SAM system so they can not hit a drone. When a drone fly low altitude you can see it and shoot it down with a simple manpads. You don´t need medium range SAM for that. As i wrote before a drone should fly high altitude so that a insurgent dont see it. Does the houthies have fighter so they can be engage with fighters? Man what did you read everything except the subject?
