Opinion: Egypt's el-Sisi manufactures new dictatorship

jew-schemed and saudi-funded reactionary arab politics will manufacture more dictatorships like sisi's. the joy one has over the defeat of terrorism and evil in syria will slip into mournful sadness of the loss of freedom of a premier arab country that anchors the entire arab civilization. without the saudi royalists' perenniel insecurity, the arab world would never have been so weak and vulnerable to zionist and angloamerican manipulation

Saudi Arabia to provide aid to Egypt if Sisi becomes president

Tue, 29/04/2014

Al-Masry Al-Youm

A senior government official said Saudi Arabia has delayed sending any new aid to Egypt until the results of the next presidential elections are announced.

The official pointed out that Saudi Arabia would announce a large aid package to Egypt if former Defense Minister Abdel Fattah al-Sisi wins the elections.

Saudi Arabia has also delayed the implementation of King Abdelaziz City in Alamein, a huge housing project funded by Saudi Arabia, the official told Al-Masry Al-Youm.

Former Prime Minister Hazem Beblawy discussed Egypt's political future after the presidential elections during his visit to the KSA in last February, during which Egypt received the latest aid package from Saudi Arabia, the official added.

Egypt asked Saudi Arabia to fund a large number of projects in Egypt, but the Saudi ambassador Ahmed Qattan said the decision depended on King Abdallah Abdel Aziz, according to the official.

Official sources told Al-Masry Al-Youm that the Saudi ministers of housing and petrol confirmed, during their meeting with their Egyptian counterparts, the KSA was ready to meet the demands of Egypt after Sisi becomes president.

"This is an essential requirement. It is not about the existence of any person as president. The Egyptian government has to support Sisi with all its power in the presidential election," the sources quoted the Saudi ministers as saying.

Saudi-based Financing of Attempted Abdelfattah Al Sisi Assassination

Inlate March a network of Muslim Brotherhood and Salafia Jihadia activists was arrested in Egypt. The network had been planning to assassinate Abdelfattah Al Sisi, the former Minister of Defense and current candidate for president.
Asenior official Egyptian source said off-the-record that the interrogations of activists involved in the network led to suspicions that the funding for their actions came from the money of Hamas's financial branch in Saudi Arabia. The money had been transferred using bureaus de change and with the direct involvement of Maher Salah, who has extensive contacts with the Muslim Brotherhood leadership in Egypt.
On7 March 2014 Saudi Arabia designated several entities, including the Muslim Brotherhood, as terrorist organizations, stating that any support, adoption of ideology and promotion of such organizations, whether verbally or in writing, will be punishable by imprisonment.

TheSaudi designation was a surprise for Hamas – the Palestinian wing of the Muslim Brotherhood. For many years, Hamas has been running a secret financial branch based on business companies in Saudi Arabia. The financial branch is headed by Maher Salah, a Palestinian Hamas member residing in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), who had previously been in charge of finances of the global Muslim Brotherhood.

Salahis the CEO of several companies registered in Saudi Arabia that, in addition to their legitimate business activity, also serve as a channel for using money from outside Saudi Arabia to fund Hamas activity.

Theactivity of Hamas's financial branch is fully coordinated with the Muslim Brotherhood in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. In recent months, a considerable part of profits made by the companies belonging to the financial branch in Saudi Arabia was used for the funding of Muslim Brotherhood activity in Egypt, seeing as the movement has been under pressure from the Egyptian government.

Dueto suspicions that Hamas is involved in money transfers from Saudi Arabia and in the funding of Muslim Brotherhood activity in Egypt, the official source stated that the Egyptian government expects Saudi Arabia to take a tough stance against Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood members on its soil, as it had done many a time when dealing with locally operating Salafi Jihadists.

Egypt tightens grip on border with Gaza amid rising casualties

Egypt is refusing to open the Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip to allow injured Palestinians to seek treatment at Egyptian hospitals amid Israel's escalating military offensive against the besieged coastal enclave.
Officials in Gaza say that the border crossing, which is Gaza's only not controlled by Israel, has mostly remained closed since Israel’s relentless attacks began more than a fortnight ago, and some medical delegations have even been denied entry.

Egypt has also prevented an aid convoy from reaching the residents of the impoverished Palestinian territory.

Egyptian protesters have staged numerous rallies in the past, calling on Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to ease restrictions on Gaza.

Many analysts believe that Cairo’s actions on the Egypt-Gaza border show a reluctance to take on any responsibility.

They argue that Egypt’s approach marks a contrast with the policy shown in November 2012, when then President Mohamed Morsi mediated a ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel after eight days of conflict.

Morsi, who was removed from power by the Egyptian army in July 2013, dispatched Egypt’s then Prime Minister Hisham Qandil to Gaza less than 48 hours after the violence began.

The death toll from the Israeli regime's military strikes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 600.

Palestinian health ministry sources said on Tuesday at least 604 Palestinians have been killed and over 3,600 others injured since the start of the Israeli offensive on July 8.

Most of the fatalities are women and children. Three of the women were pregnant and 19 of the victims were between six months and 14 years old.

The United Nations Security Council has expressed serious concern over the growing number of casualties in the Palestinian coastal enclave.

Unfortunately for Press TV the border is actually open. The Egyptian Army continues to send aid and receive injured Gazans.

So, you revived a 3-4 month old thread in order to post an outdated and inaccurate article in order to score political points. Iran can do what it wants with aid as long as it secures the correct permits and documentation.

These news are not wrong.

Today:

Egypt demolished 13 more Gaza supply tunnels

Egyptian government has ordered the destruction of 13 more Gaza supply tunnels that run from its Rafah border area into the Israeli-blockaded Palestinian enclave to bring in vital food and basic goods supplements.
The Egyptian military announced on Sunday that it had destroyed the tunnels in the Sinai Peninsula, but did not say when they were demolished.

The tunnels are the only lifeline for Palestinians living under the Israeli siege and Egypt has so far laid waste to 1,639 of them.

Since the ouster of Egypt’s former president Mohamed Morsi last July, the Egyptian military, led by former general and now President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, has launched a campaign to destroy the tunnels, preventing the people in Gaza from bringing in most of their basic goods such as food, construction materials, and fuel into the coastal enclave, which has been hit by Israeli airstrikes since July 8.

Thousands of Zionist soldiers launched a ground incursion into the densely-populated strip on July 17.

More than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed so far in the Israeli aggression and at least 6,000 others have been injured in the onslaught.

The Zionist regime admits that 43 Israeli soldiers have been killed in the war, but Hamas sources put the number at near 90.

Gaza has been blockaded by the Israeli regime since June 2007, a situation that has caused a decline in the standards of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.

The apartheid regime of Israel denies about 1.7 million people in Gaza their basic rights, such as freedom of movement, jobs that pay proper wages, and adequate healthcare and education.

These news are not wrong.

It actually is. If dozens of convoys from the international community have passed through the Rafah border how can it be right?

I do not expect you to understand the ins and outs of Egyptian affairs, however, the closing of the tunnels is purely a security decision, one that started with Operation Sinai after 16 border guards were killed in the Sinai in August 2012, not as the article claims after the ouster of Mohammed Morsi.

Simply not true.

Before this conflict even began. Since the conflict began over a thousand injured Gazans have been transported to Egyptian hospitals according to the Egyptian FM (over a week ago now I think).

There is nothing to 'admit' to. Securing our own borders and stopping illicit trade and the movement of fighters in and out of the Sinai is not a crime.

Stop with Iranian propaganda news outlets will you.
