That was the point of CAA. To give citizenship to persecuted religious minorities who fled neighboring countries citizenship. Before they were living in a state of limbo in refugee camps, unable to live in Pakistan but not eligible for Indian citizenship either.

BTW, most migrants to India aren't rich. Persecuted minorities with money typically go to countries like the US or Canada, not other developing countries. So its not like only rich Brahmin BJP supportin Hindus are being given citizenship

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but muslims of India don't want a separate country. The way PDF is perceiving CAB protests and most of the expert analysts assuming India will implode into a dozen countries will only soothe their nerves and allow em to have a good night's sleep but the reality is far from that. The CAB bill will not persecute any existing muslims in India. It's implemented so that India can allow Hindu, Buddhist & Sikh refugees but not muslims. There are already tons of islamic countries around the world to shelter muslim refugees if needed. Just search for the acts of Syrian & some middle-eastern refugees who seeked asylum in EU and what they've been upto. We've already been facing tons of issues with Rohingyas who're residing in our lands.

Again, y'all might label me as an RSS bhakt but I personally don't agree with this move completely either or atleast in it's current form since this would change the demographics of the North East allowing more Bengali Hindus into their lands. BJP must've have focused on improving the slowed economic growth but their priority seems to be more of socio-political issues which of-course should be addressed at some point since they've been long pending but not at the cost of economy.

The way Muslims thinks especially when they are in a condition like they are in India, you will never know. The reports indicate Muslim population will rise by 76% by 2050 to 308 Million while Hindu population will increase by only 30% (mostly dalit). Muslims will rule India once again. To rid of that the only option India have is to separate them and give them their land.
