Nope their families are there, so they are economic and social migrants.
There's also a huge minority population in Sind a place which historically saw little partition violence.

Slight correction Pakistan has more. Pakistan has 218 million people, and with minorities at 4% that’s 210 million Muslims. India does not have that many Muslims. At best it’s around 200 million and worst 180 million, your Muslim population also has a lower birth rate compared to Pakistan’s.

We should not discount the fact that with CAA making it legit for Hindus and others(non Muslims) living in Pakistan, BD and Afgn. to come to India and get the privileged Indian citizenship, the RSS and Sanghis might have this thought back in their mind that now Pakistan should enact a similar law and ask Muslims in India to come to Pakistan as that was the idea of partition. And NRC/NPR is all related and can make it happen...

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but muslims of India don't want a separate country. The way PDF is perceiving CAB protests and most of the expert analysts assuming India will implode into a dozen countries will only soothe their nerves and allow em to have a good night's sleep but the reality is far from that. The CAB bill will not persecute any existing muslims in India. It's implemented so that India can allow Hindu, Buddhist & Sikh refugees but not muslims. There are already tons of islamic countries around the world to shelter muslim refugees if needed. Just search for the acts of Syrian & some middle-eastern refugees who seeked asylum in EU and what they've been upto. We've already been facing tons of issues with Rohingyas who're residing in our lands.

Again, y'all might label me as an RSS bhakt but I personally don't agree with this move completely either or atleast in it's current form since this would change the demographics of the North East allowing more Bengali Hindus into their lands. BJP must've have focused on improving the slowed economic growth but their priority seems to be more of socio-political issues which of-course should be addressed at some point since they've been long pending but not at the cost of economy.
